All you folks who hang out in the Target coupon thread, start hanging out here instead! When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

I don't know. She did blood work to see if it was viral or bacterial, but didn't say which it was, and I had the nebulizer stuck in my mouth, so I didn't ask. If it helps calm any fears, I did put the q's together during the little time I was at work yesterday. Being as though I deal w/ patients, I am a purell freak. So hopefully I didn't transport pneumonia germs through the mail via coupons.

please tell me how to do that! I spend 20.00 a bag on Royal Canin for my yorkie, and there are NEVER any q's for that brand. I would love to get out of petsmart cheaper!

Terri, first of all feel better and take care of yourself. I left Pneumonia go to long and ended up having it in 2 lobes in both lungs, and was admitted for 4 days. They were going to even send me home w a Picc line I was so sick. So take your meds, drink plenty of fluids and rest. That is an order.

Oh and sometimes we have Petsmart only coupons in our paper and I get 5/25 in emails all the time.

Luckily it's almost time for new resolutions again... laugh out loud

Found this interesting article today - Coupon users face 'cheap' stigma affecting others in line: study [cbc.ca]

"Argo explained that being attractive counteracts the negative perceptions of coupon redemption.

"It is ultimately more powerful and so people focus on it rather than on the coupon redemption," she said."

And you know, some of my earliest training moments in coupon usage was going with my mom, grocery shopping for our family of 13, every two weeks, where her budget was $200. Valuable lessons for sure. But at that point, I was like 7-10 years old, so could get something out of it. Not sure my 3-yr old is learning anything other than the fact that Harris Teeter has free samples! laugh out loud
Me, too!
I did not grow up with much money and my mom used coupons on EVERYTHING. I, as a kid, found it annoying. But, once a month (I think) our local little grocery store would do double coupons and she'd fill up 2 or 3 carts and I'd finally get sugary cereal and pop tarts and such. She'd save so much. I am now better at the coupons than she is. She taught me well. But, now when she comes over I'll tell her about a deal here or there and her eyes will just glaze over as if she just doesn't care. But, she's in worse shape financially that she was back then. I don't get it, but I do appreciate learning.
I hope my kids get some of that, too! DS saved up his money for a Leapster game ($25 EEK! ) and I had him use a coupon for $5 off and he was so excited. Even the cashier said, "Even he uses coupons!!" LMAO

They really do learn, my 8 year old is a miser with his money and he is always shocked at how much I get for so little money. There was some game in an ad that was $20, he said "I bet mom could get a car load of groceries for that". laugh out loud

I went to Kroger with him the other day and had about 4 bags full of groceries, the total was 1.05 and he was EEK! . The best part was that the JJ rang up the wrong price so I got the difference and the $5 "reward" for the overring. He was laughing that we came out with more money than we went in with. laugh out loud
That's awesome!!!

I cant remember how I found SD, but I love it and all you guys here. Warning this coupd get mushy.
hug What a nice daughter you are. I teared up reading that. Let me know if you need any coupons or anything for your trip to visit!

does anyone buy free range organic eggs? If so, what price do you pay?
Our new ST had a "new store sale" for 1.95!! EEK! And, their expiration date is nice and long on the organic. Their milk, too, for 2.25. It's over now, though. Frown

Made an impromptu run with no coupons, exc TGIF. Bought a ton of books. Went to check out and we have all new registers with these HUGE screens, like a little tv. New credit card machines too, baby was mad he couldnt grab teh card back ouf of the machine.

I have no idea if they are updates with the new registers or not. I can clearly see the total, and everything happening, its a huge screen

OMG...those are my favorite!! (bacon/cheese) and.....if you read the nutritional stats on the back they aren't *that* bad considering. They have a lot of protein and not as much fat as other things I eat. laugh out loud

We have those screens! I like them for me, but not when someone else is walking by. Cool
