I was exploring light-use prepaid phone plans today and stumbled across this. This is an upgrade from a previous similar deal in that it's slightly more data, and doesn't require a $99/year upfront cost.
These plans are obviously for light-use users, such as the elderly, or very frugal slickdealers.
If 100MB isn't enough for you personally, please move along or link to a better deal at this price point.
In particular I thought this was worth posting for people in areas where Verizon is the only option for coverage, as I've found nothing else that uses Verizon at this price point (although Expo Mobile has a good Pay As You Go option if you don't need any data).

Click the "See All Plans" button, and scroll to the bottom of the list to find the ESSENTIALS plan for the following:

Look for the ESSENTIALS plan. In some cases you may need to click a link that says "See all plans" and scroll to the bottom of the list.
Alternatively, you can get the plans above for $8.25/month for 12 months if you purchase a Red Pocket SIM for $99 on eBay [ebay.com].

Take a look at overages... there is not a pay per unit overage.
Direct international dial will only work with the GSMA, GSMT and CDMAS platforms. It does not work with CDMAV, and requires first dialing to an access number.
