"Alexa, reorder Reynolds Wrap. I need to make more tin foil hats."
I was wondering if they'd honor Amazon Gift Cards because I have them in my recent order history and need to buy one for a family member and I'd take one too.

I also wondered if this deal will work more than once - like, can I get a $5 credit for EACH item I reorder or just one/one time deal?

Then I read this:

So, no go on the Amazon gift cards because mine were the e-gift/digital type and no go on multiple deals.

But I will definitely use this and since I didn't see it even while shopping on Amazon today, I'm repping you OP. Thanks - I would've missed out on $5!

just reordered something for $6.75...Great deal if I get the $5 credit back. Thanks for posting OP, I would have missed it otherwise. Also I'm gonna play it safe and take screenshots of the offer page and my order history, just in case.

Alexa or Amazon doesn't mention anything about the $5 after reordering 🤔

I see that the $5 promo code can only be used to purchase items sold by Amazon.com but does the item you reorder to get the $5 promo code have to be sold by Amazon.com?

I guess I can order something a bit more than $5 then reorder it via Alexa after it ships. That makes it almost a bogo free deal.

Alexa tells me that too. I find that if I'm less specific, saying maybe half of the item name instead of the whole thing, that she is usually able to find and order what I want her to order.

Great way to get everyone to reconnect the devices they disconnected after the CIA WikiLeaks this week.

nice, same here. won't reorder stuff i want even though it's in my order list instead adds it to my shopping list. will try the trick mentioned above.

eta: BINGO! it worked. try asking again and this time, try using a "shorter" description. seems like the reorder process will work better if asked for something that alexa has to search your history for; so just say reorder "patches" or reorder "crackers" or reorder "clip" and if alexa can find it, it will tell you exactly what it's found before it places the order so you can confirm the price.
