I was trying to check what all accessories this comes with and what all it can do but could not find this version FP-2GM in the Cuisinart website..
Doing some searching, it looks like this this model is only available through BuyDig and Beach Camera, which are the same company (like the listings on Amazon and Walmart.com are sold by Beach Camera). Might be some kind of exclusive?

From what I see, the other one is 1k watts and this one is 550watts. I'm leaning toward the refurbished one because of the higher wattage and extra 2 year warranty
As an FYI, the 2-year extended warranty email I got from the warranty company only covers the purchase price ($64.99 in my case) not replacement of the unit.

of course, they probably don't make em like they used to, the old ones might outlive most of the ones on the market now
Looks like reviews on this one are decent, not amazing, reports of cheap plastic, but this is an excellent price. The Cuisinart with the best reviews seems to be the 14 cup Custom model.
You need to say this about a single purpose gadget like a hot dog toaster or something lol. Also, that used to be the case when 3 pounds of potato salad did not cost you 1/3rd the price of this thing. Now you are just flat out way better off making almost anything and bringing it to a get together than picking something on the way. This thing pays for itself in a few uses at the price of inflation these days. It buys you back loads of time chopping and grating even if you have a mandolin slicer to help. Use it to mix to boot and you just saved yourself a load of time that's spent doing better things than traveling somewhere 'along the way' and waiting for someone else to prepare things for you while draining your wallet.
Also, the motor is very light and not nearly the quality of the good Cuisinart models.
If you're going to use a food processor regularly, wait for a deal on a DLC-8SBCYP1 or better yet, a DFP-14BCNY.
If you insist on having one soon, get a Ninja NJ11GR until you can get a proper Cuisinart.

You're right the bowl costs as much as the processor. These do wear out over time. Any other brand where this isn't a issue?

Ollie's Current Flyer [ollies.us]
I went and picked up one since the flyer does not tell you much. It comes with the 4.5 cup bowl, Dice, Shred, Slice, Small Chop, Large Chop, and Dough Blade, and the Storage case as well. 550w motor. One downside is 90-day warranty only, but my debit card will extend that 3 more months.
