Search SD, they come up for that price range periodically for Apple Certified Refurbished 16 inch M1 MBP. And everyone can tell you that the Apple certified Mac's are identical to brand new, both in appearance and warranty.
While I agree buying refurbished directly from Apple's website is like new. The same can't be said of 3rd party refurbished Apple devices. Which is typically the type of deals we see posted on SD. There was a Woot deal on refurbished 16" M1 MBPs not too long ago. I would never trust buying one of those since they are 3rd party refurbished and not Apple Certified Refurbished.

I got the Woot deal and it was indeed Apple certified refurbished.

Correct, only the M2 Pros and M3 Airs/Pros support dual external display at the moment
Even MBA M3 is botched b/c you have to *close* the lid to support dual monitors. Its not like you have Laptop Screen + 2 external monitors connected directly. It's literally a ripoff and tech reviewers trying to give excuse "This is how these processors are designed" is bs. The response/review shd be to either lower the cost or fix the design or default to M3 Pro for higher end MBAs. (The way same reviewers would have cried about any other vendor/brand)

Yes, that's what dual monitors means.
If the Macbook Air doesn't do what you need it to do then buy the Macbook Pro. Right tool for the job and all that.

Every deal comes back. Business is not strong on laptops. There will be tons of deals.

I'm sure many of us could afford this MacBook outright, but would rather invest that money and pay over time if given the option.
