I'm so glad they started this back instead of those clutches!
Doesn't hurt to call though, and ask for a LBOO instead. I got mine a few weeks ago.
Can I hop on the Red333 made me buy a bunch of stuff I wasn't intending to!! -train? :co verlaf: I currently have $200+ of WHBM dresses... only maybe $75 of which I will be returning :fa cepalm: The instant slimming ones fit so darn well...and I can actually wear a regular bra with them... and the quality.... :gir ly:
:wa ve2: Did you already lose us again? :te ehee:
:e ek: I'm glad everyone is OK. It's possible they put all the lug nuts on and forgot to come back and tighten them with the pneumatic torque wrench thing. This would mean that over time, each would work it's way out... possibly accounting for that clicking noise you were hearing last week. The shop would see that they went in on their video and might try to play that game. It sounds like an honest mistake, but a HUGE one that they should be worried about...and worried about their relationship with you.
We had a scary experience with lug nuts as well... completely DH's fault though. We were once driving on the freeway in DH's truck with mud tires and a lift kit on it. He hadn't been maintaining it while he was in college- so no tire rotations. The lug nuts rusted onto the wheels and many years after college (still unmaintained), they started snapping off one by one without us noticing. The thing had bad handling anyway so it wasn't until there was ONE lugnut left and it became so difficult to handle that DH pulled off the freeway and we saw what happened. On a regular car wheel, 1 lug nut is a big deal... on a truck wheel with mud tires, this thing was wobbling by nearly half a foot. We went to the nearest store to get a truck dolly/jack and we couldn't get the last nut off. :fac palm: It cost $175 for the "special tow" by AAA (because they took the wheel off so this lifted truck was down on it's front axel on the bed of the tow truck)... just across the street to the Toyota dealership where by that time it was after hours so we left the truck in their lot, the keys in an envelope explaining what had happened.... They charged us nearly $600 to remove the rusted lug and put the wheel back on with new lugs... That night, we had to spend at SIL's. That was truly a test of our relationship : O

Just so you know, you cost ME $225...you talked about the WHBM stuff red made you buy, so I went to the site and...bam. Oy. It's an expensive week but I have a wedding to go to in a month and I need a dress. Ordered some of the slimming ones to try since you all love them so much!
sounds like a great plan... i think higher education is always a good idea. hope it's all going well!
Please keep posting WHBM deals! I skipped out last time because I spent a lot at VS, BR, and bought shoes. I may have to look into their dresses now! But I have soo many unworn from Express.
Welcome back from the bat cave
Your comments on the WHBM dresses are making me consider them again when it's on sale!
Do the instant slimming ones have a lot of fabric to hold everything in?
On average, about how much did it come out to per piece?

I went to Sephora the other day, in another location, and the SA was SUPER pregnant. She looked beautiful, her hair and makeup all perfect, and she was a respectable distance away while talking to me, but her belly was almost touching me.. was hard not to stare.. DH thought it was cute that I was staring... I hope I didn't offend her, I didn't end up getting anything, that store was out of deluxe samples too, so I felt like it wasn't worth it..
Thanks. Those are amazing prices for quality dresses! I don't like floral patterns in general and I don't like colorblocking either I am more of a solid one color piece kinda gal. Maybe a contrasting trim or something. Stripes are also a no go. Thanks for the tips in the no wear in hot CA weather. Maybe I should go in store to try one on if I'm ever around one…
Yeah, sweater dresses are difficult sometimes, but can be so cute and cozy when worn right. I usually do tights. Helps hide any lines and helps when gorging on food!
I haven't really found anything at Express aside from sweaters for a while now. It's probably better this way. Waiting for Columnist to go BOGO.
Stealing wheels are a scary thing. I initially thought wheel locks would replace ALL lug nuts and I was surprised it's the only one. What if something like SH happened to me! Yikes! Good thing I've decided against any after market anythings since my car accident. Not worth it to fix up a car already in an accident.
Good luck on the cookies!
Dot Tiered Dress [whitehouseblackmarket.com] - this makes 3 black and white polka dot dresses that I've picked up this year
Floral Tank Dress [whitehouseblackmarket.com] - I'm not a huge fan of floral patterns either but this one fits great and didn't seem grandma-ish at all to me (it was also the cheapest)
3/4 sleeve stripe [whitehouseblackmarket.com] - I know you don't like stripes.. but this has them and wraps you up in just the right way 3/4 square neck in burgundy [whitehouseblackmarket.com] - This is probably up your alley. However, it was the most expensive of the bunch and might show more than I want it to. I think I'll see if it drops in price.
They really don't have a lot of solid colors available in clearance outside of black or white... but I guess that's the name of the store They do have quite a bit of solid black in the slimming styles...I'm just avoiding those b/c I have so many NWT in the closet already.
Express has a new sweater dress [express.com]- basically an elongated tank version of their rhinestud shoulder sweater. I tried it on the other day and it's got quite the cling-factor. Fits a little odd in the shoulders for me too, but that's probably the girls up top causing trouble again .
You're not alone! I wanted to buy a set of locking lugnuts for each wheel! DH pointed out that they only need to prevent one bolt from coming off to have an anti-theft effect. He also noted it would probably tick off the mechanic to have a different "key" for every wheel. I said "fine" ... and wish I still had the "CLUB" in the trunk to throw on when we're in bad neighborhoods (we lost the key for it ) I feel like cars are like shoes - if you're not Jay Leno with your own garage with car elevators, then they're going to go out, get used and show it.
Thanks!

Of course, it came via a visitor from Africa who is not an american citizen...I wish our government would stop worrying so much about being politically correct and worry more about protecting our borders and our people. Sigh...
