Saw this floating around on facebook, though it might be fun to try in the lounge
Post 10 concerts. 9 you have been to, and one false one. Here is my list. Guess which is false?
1. Ghostface Killah
2. Kaskade
3. Sofi Tukker
4. The Heavy
5. Until the Ribbon Breaks
6. ZZ Ward
7. Miike Snow
8. Kissy Sell Out

Bonus points to anyone who actually recognizes more than five of these bands/DJs

And I'm too tired to continue to 10.
I don't understand why people are so excited about a concert. It's the same songs you hear on the radio. And when listening to the radio or mp3 player you get variety.
Slipknot
Papa Roach
Metallica
RHCP
Cypress Hill
Lil Wayne
STP
MGK
Nirvana

I don't think any replaces experiencing music live. Artists really give you something when they perform live, not the polished, too perfect studio album takes. you share that moment with the people around you, and being at a concert means it's loud enough that music can make you physically feel it, which also changes how you relate to it. when I move away from austin, the things I'll remember most are some of the amazing concerts I was able to see.

I've also never been to a proper arena/stadium concert, so I've never seen metallica, RHCP, beyonce, elton john, although I could have had I wanted it enough, I guess.
Rolling Stones
Ben Folds
Los Lonely Boys
Three Dog Night
The Chieftains
The Gypsy Kings
Muddy Waters
Matchbox 20
Willy Nelson

Kissy Sell OutLess Than Jake.I do recognize some of these via DH.
2. Woodstock 94 - I just got out of HS like a year prior. I got hired to work at the concert. Only things I remember from that whole week are:
* They played Easy Rider on one of the large screens by one of the stages the night before it officially started
* Nobody Beats The Whiz had a 'store' on the concert grounds
* They wanted $8-9 a pack for smokes at the concert. This was before NY state started gouging like crazy on them.
* Lotsa mud
* Lotsa naked people, including a couple topless women stumbling around the morning after the final night of the concert
* Only other thing I remember bout the concert was being really wasted for 3-4 days straight and getting a fairly nasty looking scar to remember it by cuz I spun round on the bunk I was sleeping on n got splinters stuck in my hand(didn't feel a damn thing). Oh and jumping off the top of said bunks(aka Macho Man Randy Savage type diving) into giant piles of foam pads used on the bunks. I was THAT wasted.

I'm not sure how Matchbox 20 fits in that list, so that's what I'll guess
Until I started the list, I didn't realize how many bands I've watched over the years, could have gone on for another 10 easily. Used to go to the Texas State Fair every year and they have had a lot of great bands over the years. They have several concerts going each day.

Stones, then? or do they come to the fair?
p.s. I really need to go the Texas state fair at some point
