Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.
Can I cancel after the first year?
Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Thanks for the info. When you say you used it with FreedomPop LTE, you mean running off AT&T's network, not Sprint right? I want to get the $80 CC Moto G4 Play at Target and use it for this deal but I guess that's a no go then if it won't work on Sprint.
Sure no problem. Yea for FreedoPop it was an AT&T domestic GSM LTE SIM.

For Sprint, I really don't know for sure cuz I don't have one to test but I'm semi-confident it can't based on results in an old deal https://slickdeals.net/f/9458395-consumer-cellular-moto-g4-play-xt1607-unlocked-version-target-85-tax-ac-or-80-tax-ac-target-red-card?v=1&p=93019659#post93019659

There are more comments before and after that one about what it did/didn't work with. Maybe go in the store and run the IMEI through Ting compatibility check and see if it passes for CDMA.

I've been with sprint for a over a decade. Honestly if you're thinking about leaving after a year or something like that... Think again. This company pulls a lot of shit. And they've made auto adjustments on accounts. I've had to call the BBB and literally stalk their corporate offices. Furthermore they have a lot of hidden fees, random charges etc.

Their data is dope though. They don't bottleneck like other companies. And you can pretty much do whatever the fark you want with it. They legitimately don't care. Other than the mobile hotspot, which they'll charge you for.
Can't say I've ever had any of that happen to me.

I wonder if the MEID could be added to Sprint's database through the method suggested by FatSmurf below and if that would make it pass the Sprint eligibility checker.

Quote from FatSmurf :
So that's why I recommended you call Sprint, open a ClickIt ticket, and ask them to add your MEID to the database.
If someone can try this with the CC G4 Play and report back that would be great.

I want to get the cheapest prepaid service possible so I can then switch over to this deal.

What is a good cheap bare bones service to get?
I was on T Mobile's $3/month plan. I don't think you'll find anything cheaper than that. lol The minimum you can add is $10, so that's the most you'd be out in addition to whatever you pay for their SIM.

And clearly you don't care about spelling either. Right, non sense. Yeah warning other people that the deal with sprint, probably isn't on the up and up is non sense. Yeah go for it, and when you get charged for shit on your free deal remember what you typed. I'm going to be laughing.

What a worthless post.

Lmao, so sprint has their people here or what? Check the contract it's stated there. Only 10 gb is free. Also there are other forums it still costs to get a free mobile hot spot.

Nice try on the discredit clown. Tell sprint to get better reps.

If you're referring to a separate mobile hotspot device, then of course it costs money for the device and its service.
If you're referring to tethering, using the 10GB of hotspot usage on smartphone device, that's included.

I'm trying to help out my friend who has a family. Can she do this?
get $50 referral using my referral.
Get $150 by referring her husband's line.
Get another $150 by referring her daughter's line.

If anyone has done something like this, I'd love to hear their experience.
That is possible only if she opens two accounts, that is hers and her husband/daughter. For one account with 3 lines, only $150 ($50x3) and you get $300 (unless you are already maxed out at $500).

If she has credit union, can get another $50 per line for port in.

1. Not going to get in a debate with you. About this. You're a sprint rep that made an account on the 14th and you tried to discredit. Failed and you're still trying.

2. You have no idea what you're talking about with mobile technologies. Cause you're wrong on so many levels.

I already stated 10gb was free with this plan but you're getting charged after. You keep avoiding that point.

Do you even know the difference between tethering and hotspot? Because it's clear that you don't and you're pulling words out your ass cause it sound techy to people that buy your stuff and don't know. Can you answer it without going to YouTube or google?

Ps why would I be talking about a separate mobile device, when I'm talking about phones?

Wait what are you talking about? It clearly says that 10GB of high speed tethering is included and after that it'll slow down to 2G speeds with no additional cost for overages. He's also not wrong, generating a hot spot is wireless tethering. It's a common term used interchangeably because people don't often bring a usb cord with them to usb tether anymore.

Even if Sprint has done you wrong in the past, you shouldn't spread false info about the deal this time. Warning about their customer service is fine but this deal is solid, especially for people who live in decent Sprint areas.

And you shouldn't come at me with accusations.

Actually before you and anyone else sign up check with other users. Because I know mine isn't free and a bunch of other people isn't free. Trust me I know and I'm not going to go into detail about it due to that sprint rep, you and whoever else is on here for whatever company benefit.

And yes he is wrong. And now you're wrong also. Look it up. It's called tethering for a reason and it's not just because of the USB cord. Just cause the terminology gets whored out doesn't mean it's right. Like "hack", etc etc

I'm just trying to warn people on here. But I forgot how people on here roll. They kind of deserve it. There's pages dedicated to the screwjobs people have gotten from sprint. So don't act like I'm the only person on this.

I am able to get a sim card at the sprint store. Do I just call their regular phone line and tell them this promo? Do they know it or it's just an online only promo?
