Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.
Can I cancel after the first year?
Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

One more question... Sprint sent me a SIM card and when trying to activate with the Galaxy S8 unlocked model, they are telling me that it is an invalid SIM card and THEY are the ones that sent it to me.

Now they are telling me that there is a special Sprint SIM card made for the unlocked Galaxy S8 that I will need to obtain from either them or a store.

Is this true? With VZW / Tmob / ATT, one SIM card worked on all the phones.

its true that sprint phones use different sims. Not sure in your specific case though.

I'm just putting my young kids on them. Sprint is pretty poor at my actual house but really good around town in general so they'll be fine for them. They'll be on wifi at home

anyone bored enough to compare this deal to the Virgin deal and suggest which one is better?
I'd go with sprint you get more choices to BOYD. Then you can swap to other sprint compatible device. After 120 days you can upgrade and get access to all the sprint phone deals and then get the phones unlocked, they say 50 days but sooner if you really try. No hotspot on virgin and you need to buy their iPhones pretty much at full price. Not sure about unlock policy but the old one was after 12 months service. There are other virgin travel related perks though.

Worried about the timeline I'm thinking of trying to pick up my sims locally. Does Best Buy carry them? Anyone know the part number for a Moto G4 Play?

If I do have to order them has anyone opened multiple lines on this deal? Did you have to pay $10 for each sim or just the order. $16 wouldn't be bad for 2 shipped but $26 is getting a little stoopid.

I used Tello's website (https://tello.com/buy/sim) to find the correct SIM for my phone. For your G4 Play, the SIM part number will be GLW236C. Individual stores may have their own prefix attached to it.

Interesting, that makes sense, another site I found had that same 236C suffix so that seems to be key. Can I just walk into a sprint store and buy these? Are they $2.99 in store like Sprint.com sells them for? Want to make certain I get the right thing so Sprint can't throw out the stopsticks on me during this process and make me miss the deadline.

So can you buy the correct Sprint (non-prepaid?) sim at Best Buy? I don't care about the fee, just don't want to wait and risk the timeline
It shouldn't matter whether the SIM was originally for a prepaid or postpaid phone. I used one that was from a Boost prepaid phone (LG Tribute 2) for my Nexus 6. As long as the SIM part number is compatible, it should be fine.

Going to pick the sims up at the tmo store tomorrow. Guess they're $10 and come preloaded with 30 minutes/30 texts so that should be perfect to get this done. Regardless, it looks like I have to buy a sim so this should get the deal done. This will also give me the opportunity to test T-mobile service at my house. I've always wondered what they're like here to know if they're a viable option for me.
Could you please give me a lil more detail on this? I'm getting a new unlocked Samsung S8. I use a postpaid sim from ultra but I think porting from Ultra network is not eligible. So I can just buy a $10 t-mobile sim that come preloaded with 30 minutes/30 texts and get the tmobile account activated and then change to Sprint to get this deal?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

its also CDMA using Sprint network. I guess this means you were on the GSM side which explains why you could port out from FP.

GOOGLE VOICE PORTERS

Please report your success... I have seen posts from a couple that said they were allowed to do so; however, Sprint is giving me grief over it.

They seem to have a hangup with the account number being the same as the phone number. I am assuming thats what everyone is using as their account number?

I have literally tried 5 times (only 1 credit check) and I keep getting different excuses.

It works, ported over and had no issues with phone number being same as account. Your details are on your google voice account.
