My spouse is on the same plan as I am on Sprint, but I am primary, and he is just an added phone from a long time ago, do they have his SS# too, how can I find out?

At some point in the application process, assuming your credit union is listed in their database, it will ask for your credit union bank account number as well as your Sprint number. I received a confirmation email with a confirmation number, but that doesn't guarantee it will go through. Hopefully I'll receive a nice surprise 8-10 weeks from now.
1) You ported from tello, to att, then to sprint for the 1 year deal. Correct?
2) At the time when you were ordering the att gophone sim card from the att website, you entered the info of your phone # and account # and pin # (anything else?) for the line you wanted to port in to att from tello. Is that right?
3) And in the single transaction on the att website, you paid for the sim card $0.99, signed up and paid for $0.25 plan, and thus a total of $1.70 (=$0.99 + $0.25 + tax)...? I'm asking because I couldn't find a $1.70 sim card and I don't want to order the wrong sim card.
4) And your att sim card arrived in the mail, the sim was already activated? You did not need to call anyone to active your sim and port your number into att, since you already did all that during the purchase transaction, right?
2. Yes
3. My total only include the SIM, it is 1.7 which 0.99 + tax + fee (might not be same amount all state, tax and fee will probably be different)
4. SIM is not activated, you need to go it on a website/or call, then once activate and put in the phone it suppose to trigger the port automatically
1. So I ordered the sim from the att website early morning on 6/20 ($0.99+tax). During the order, I did enter my imei number and ting phone number, but I didn't get prompted to enter ting account # or pin # for port in. Did I miss it somehow? All I saw was something like 'your number is eligible'. It's been >1.5 days, and the online checker for order status is still "In Progress", and a phone number xxx-xxx-xxxx (that I don't recognize) shows up right next to the picture of the sim card kit on my order page. Did I miss some steps on the 'port in'...? If so, what can I do now?
2. I'm worried so I called att today. They said my order is 'in progress'. I asked them about that strange phone number (the one shows up next to the sim card picture on the order page), and they said that it's a temporary phone # for the sim that I ordered. They told me that once I receive the sim in the mail, I can call their port-in activation center to port-in my phone #. Is that really true? And if so, is this going to cost me much more time to port in from ting (vs. how you did it)?
3. Should I keep waiting to see what happens to this order? Or should I cancel the order, and redo the order again (and hoping this time I will get promoted to enter ting account # and pin #)...?
Time is running short... so I'm trying to find out best way forward... thanks again for your help.

*123*YourZIPcode*02#
Replace "YourZIPcode" with actual 5 digit zip code.
This will activate $2 daily plan.
Call ATT rep and he'll add $2 to your account. You need to provide your debit or credit card number to rep. I m not sure of online you can top up your account with $2
In your case, did you port in a phone # to att, or you just got a new # assigned by att? Also, does this method work only for $2/day plan? Would it work for $0.25/min plan? if so, how...? Thanks for your help.

It does not matter if it is $2/ day plan or $ 0.25 plan, plan activation needs $10 funding. Otherwise, you will NOT get account #. Btw, I gave one SDer my Go Phone # that I offered to you and his business was done in minutes.
Good luck!
Thank you all for helping and quick answers during calls.
Now one thing i gave them imei number of a iphone which i dont have with me (could not get a eligible phone otherwise as my both phones were already on sprint and this new account opened on wife name). So my question is can i swap the phone to another one after few days (i will have to buy new one perhaps) without effecting my free year plan and without activating current iphone (as i dont have it) and use same sim (its new byod sim i did not open yet)???
Thanks

I called back and the rep kept saying not to worry, it's a temporary plan and will get adjusted. I read that someone else had this show up for them in an earlier post. And some folks are getting charged full price. Wiki says it should say something else if successfully done.
I then called the 866-782-8777 and the rep looked at my account and said I was on a $45 plan. I told her about the promo. 45 minutes later, she says my account isn't eligible for the promotion since I didn't sign up online (?!). I hung up.
I then tried chatting online with them to fix it. Spent 30 mins on chat verifying my account, got transferred to another agent who verified my account, and then they told me to call 800-777-4681.
I'm 3 hours into it and stuck. For those of you who successfully got this plan by applying over the phone, do you also see this $45 2GB "temporary" plan or what's in the wiki? How do you know you successfully got the plan?
