Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.
Can I cancel after the first year?
Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Why the difference when both are in NYC and literally right next to each other?
Because people are not ask how many lines they have, some people have 1 line, 2 line 3 lines...

My billing cycle with att ends on the 26th and the promotion is through the 30th. I have 4 lines on my att account. One of the phones is not eligible. I'm in the process of locating another phone.

Can I just add the three lines now and then the 4th line in a few days? I may not end up porting the last line. Also, would I be able to add my brothers line (separate att account to my account?

Anybody who ordered over the phone have their "temporary" $45/2GB switch to the FREE plan? I just activated my line 20 minutes ago and the rep told me it would switch over in a few hours. She did read all the terms and conditions of the free plan though with the 7/31/2018 expiration date.

Has anyone successfully swap device online? I tried to swap my Nexus 6 to a Sprint galaxy S4 and getting this message:

We're sorry. We cannot complete your activation. Please click the chat icon on the top right of the page or make an appointment at a store near you.
Some people here have successfully swapped to another phone. Why don't you do an online chat and ask the rep to swap your device. It should work.

Update us here then.

If you know Sprint service is not good in your area, then this deals is NOT for you.

How do we find out the account number for the credit union referral?
Sprint should have great service in large cities, cities with a population of over 1 million but it doesn't. Sprint concentrates on getting in more customers not fixing their service.

Solution for ineligible phone

I just found out why my phone was ineligible.

Like many of you, I was with Ringplus in the past ported to Ting earlier this year. My phone initially showed up as ineligible even though it was no longer was tied to any active Sprint or Sprint MVNO (like ting) service. If you were in a similar situation try this:

Log in to your old ting account that involved the phone.
Go to "Device settings" on the left menu, and wait for it to load.
Make sure your phone is not listed in the "active" table
Delete all devices in the "inactive" table
Check on sprint's website in 5 min

My previous phone was listed as an inactive device (likely placed there after I ported out the number). Once I deleted it, it showed up as eligible within a few minutes.

Hope this helps some of you! thanks OP for this deal!

This took me a while to figure out after I used up all my Ting credit and wanted to switch to Tello. You gotta delete the device info from all other MVNOs or swap with another device to free it up to use with another provider.
Does anyone know how the method above (i.e. "deleting all devices in the "inactive" table from Ting account) compare with the method via the user "LiterallyUnlimited"? Would they yield the same result which 'frees up' your devices that were once with Ting, so you can sign up for this sprint 1 year free service?

I've ported in an iPhone and a SIM that I've previously used with Ringplus. Everything works fine except I only have 3G. It doesn't connect to LTE. Anyone had a similar experience?

If you get a moment, read the wiki. I had the same happen to me. First rep read all terms and conditions applied to free plan. Second rep did the same. Supervisor and escalation team on third call stated this requires resolution at a higher level since it is web sign up only and in the meantime, my UNFREE service still stands. I canceled and may try again (I'm a glutton for punishment).

What is the easiest way to move from Tello to this deal? I believe I have to go to a non-Sprint provider first, right? Someone mentioned TPO - are there any others?

Sprint sent info on how to get the plan if you ordrered over the phone. From the above it says YMMV if you ordered over the phone, but did anyone else get this insert when they ordered the SIM cards over the phone at the 8777 number? If I don't get the FREE BYOD plan, I would say this is false advertising on Sprint's part.

Does anyone have a Samgung S7 that has actually passed the eligibility screen?

I have a verizon S7 - that I know will work perfectly fine with sprint if I flash the unlocked firmware. However after 30 minutes on hold with sprint telesales and supervisors, they claim they can't add the imei to their database.

Anyone have any luck adding an IMEI to the database?
Does anyone know anything about this? I have an S7 on verizon too and would like to take advantage of this offer... the phone should work fine..

OK, online chat works. Just done with device swapping. I think they want me to buy equipment insurance by asking me to call them.
