Do I need to order sprint sim card online in advance(after online credit check) ?
If you think Sprint has such a bad reputation, why sign up for the plan then? I wont sign up for any company which have a shady or bad reputation which we dont trust. I will just cancel the account Would you do that, I guess not
It could be someone at Sprint made a mistake, but then they fix it right, so what more do you want by keep saying they are lying. Have you ever never make mistake during work, what happen if everyone assume you are purposely make mistake and what will you feel?
Your attitude is the problem not Sprint and I am happy with my dealing with them.
Contribute to the thread mean answering others question, ranting your problem is NOT contributing
For starters it's a new deal. Bound to be some confusion at the call centers. I had a relatively easy time setting up 2 lines on one account and a separate account for someone else. CSR reps have been as helpful as I could hope for. It does help to read the wiki as well. Great work by a few slickdealers to make it pain free
Ting Boyd checker says "Sorry, this phone can't be activated right now. Sprint says there's an unpaid balance associated with it.
The Sprint account holder (whether present or former) is the only one that can clear this balance with Sprint and you will need to get in contact with them. You can check compatibility again 48 hours after this flag is removed.
If you bought the phone from a 3rd party you may want to ask for a refund."
Swappa ESN checker says
"Blacklisted Not Indicated This device does not appear to be globally blacklisted.
Activation Status. Clear Device appears to be activation ready.
Ting Bring your Sprint or GSM device to Ting! No contracts. Just pay for what you use."
Nexus 5 unlocked Google store phone.
Previously worked in r+.
Ting check you says clean and GSM, cdma compatible. But Sprint says ineligible.
#2
Same, r+, unlocked, iPhone 6s. Ting says clean phone and ready for activation but Sprint says stolen or ineligible phone.
Any idea how to overcome this?
Calling Sprint would solve?
I have couple of Sprint sim cards. Can I use them or is buying sim card is must? Not sure if it will reach me on time.
Wife and son are overseas and have their phones with them. They are both on some 3rd party (possibly cricket) plan. They return on July 9th
Can I move their phones to TMO, then onto Sprint to take part of this plan without having the phones physically with me?

Spent a little over an hour on phone with Sprint, went pretty smooth but seemed much slower than needed to be. I may have failed the website credit check because I was a Sprint customer maybe 4 years ago, had to remember the answer to my secret question I had set up probably 11 years ago.
I am sorry about that. This number was ported just yesterday and we won't be able to provide any port out or account information before the first 5 days after the activation and proper ownership confirmation procedure.
Hi, did you really have to wait 5 days to get that info? Or did you decide to go with some other MVNO to port into sprint?
