Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.
Can I cancel after the first year?
Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

You have to call Sprint to correct the phone number or else you can't activate it. They can look up your account with the account number or your SSN if the account is already created successfully.
Thanks! I was able to port 1 SIM on the website to create the account and get a PIN, so they could find the account when I called back. This prevented a second credit check and they were able to port the second number.

All working and both phones show $0 plan. Thanks!!

I have Tmobile tablet line. Can I transfer that line ?

Also I have Nexus 5 which I used on ringplus 1 year back. It said the phone is not eligible. Do I need to call some.number to make it eligible?
Yes, I think I saw one person ported a free 200MB data line from T-Mobile on reddit. The N5 might have the MVNO flag on it. You have to ask Sprint or LiterallyUnlimited to remove it.

Anyone been able to get a Samsung Galaxy J3 or J7 from Verizon to work for this deal?

They are CDMA phones. The salesperson at BB said there is no difference in the Sprint J3 / J7's versus the Verizon J3 / J7's.

I put my J7 on the Ting checker and it said it will work with Ting. But, when I put in on the sprint eligibility, it says it won't work.

The N6 is already in the database. I think your N6 probably has the MVNO flag on it, that's why it is not eligible. Just ask Sprint to remove the MVNO flag if that is the case. You can call 866-275-1411.

When the Ting BYOD indicates "Sorry, this phone can't be activated right now. Sprint says there's an unpaid balance associated with it." Is it 100% caused by the FED flag or could it also cause by unpaid bills (outstanding balance) from a wireless provider?
I believe you will see that message on ting also if the phone is currently active on Sprint or sprint mvno. So it is possible the Sprint mvno didn't release his IMEI.

I checked two IMEIs that are currently active on Sprint and they both show "Great news! Your phone is compatible with Ting." What does your IMEI show?

ADDED: Checked a dummy IMEI that is currently on Tello, it also shows "Great news! Your phone is compatible with Ting." The dummy IMEI was created based on N6 device ID using Luhn algorithm.

Sure -- my Moto G4 Play activated fine with voice and data, but data was only 3G (no LTE). I followed these steps (copied from another SD post):

1) Install "Change APN" app from Google store
2) Open ChangeAPN and click the "option" ( the 3 vertical dots) in the upper right hand corners.
3) click "reset to default"
4) exit the app
5) perform carrier reset (note: need to use the *#*#72786#*#* as noted by someone previously)
6) after the phone rebooted, perform PRL/Device config update.

Unfortunately I can't get this to work for my Moto G4 (not play) because the 3 vertical dots don't appear in the APN settings via the Change APN app.
I got the same issue, but finally get my Moto G4 work after some tries. The key is to set the correct Sprint APN for Moto G4.

Here is my procedures:
1. Remove the Sprint SIM card and insert any GSM SIM card (T-Mobile, ATT or FreedomPop)
2. Go to Settings - More - Cellular networks - Carrier settings, you will see APN there!
3. Click APN then delete all the APNs already in the page.
4. Click the "+" button to add a Sprint APN ( APN: cinet.spcs), then save it.
5. Choose the Sprint APN and leave settings.
6. Remove the GSM SIM and insert the Sprint SIM.
7. Drink a cup of coffee then enjoy the LTE.

Hopefully it works for you.
