Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.
Can I cancel after the first year?
Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

If you are approved for more than three lines, you can add additional line(s) with any plan (either BYOP or buy device with installment, depending on your approved credit line/limit). Keep in mind that number of lines approved and credit line/limit approved are two different things as I have explained earlier in another post. You can have different plans on the same account. Since I don't know the number of lines you are approved for, it could be either the Sprint rep is clueless or you are approved for three lines only. As for credit line/limit, you can always do down payment if your credit line is not enough to cover the device you want to buy with installment payment.
I was approved for 5 lines.

I was trying to sign up for a new plan to take advantage of the Best Buy deal.

I've read your posts and others but apparently Best Buy said the system won't allow me to add a new plan. I obviously can't add a new line to the BYOP since it doesn't meet the criteria.

I chatted with CSR regarding the new/separate plan and I was told I can't add a new plan because my current BYOP plan is highly discounted.

Can some help me out out....here's my situation:
Currently have 2 grandfathered ULD Verizon plans and need to add a new line for my son. I just purchased the Iphone SE from the other SD Best Buy deal. The question is what's the best way to get the Iphone SE on this Sprint deal then switch it to Verizon later to get the $200 Bring back to Verizon promo?
How old is your son? Have him sign up, buy a sprint SIM card $5

Do you think it's likely Verizon will still be doing that promotion a year plus from now?

From what I've read, you want to put a Verizon postpaid SIM card in the Verizon prepaid iPhone before turning it on for the first time. That permanently unlocks it for all carriers.

Either order a SIM card from Sprint or pick one up for free from your local Apple store.

You'll also need a number to port into Sprint for this offer, most people found Google Voice to be least costly, but perhaps you'd like to start the service on Verizon postpaid and port it out. Good luck!

I would rather pay $120 a month for my 3 lines with Verizon than get free service with Sprint.
Then why bother to comment? Sprint might not be good in your area, but I am happy with the service since our bill is only 17.85 for five lines.

you signup with one of the listed devices first then swap to s8
I just sorted it out. You need to talk to the customer care. Only 50% of the people know this process,so if someone says it can't be done, say thanks and hang up. Call again to speak to a different person. Just tell them that You have an unlocked s8 (make sure your s8 is unlocked by using an at t sim) and want to get the 1year sprint offer. they will ship you a sim card specific to Samsung galaxy s8. Or you can visit the store to get the sim for s8. S8's sim can't be used in any Other phone. If you are getting it from the store, ask him not to activate it. Call up the customer care, tell them you want to avail the 1year offer, and you have s8's sim. They will guide you through the process. P.s I have just ordered the sim. I would receive it by tomorrow. I 'll keep posted about how it went. Thanks

Well if you are not getting the phone from Google Model LG-H790 and bought it off some random place (Ebay) you most lightly got the international version LG-H791 which missing some bands

People need to do better research before they purchase phone. When I got my Nexus 5X I make sure it is the H790 version and due to lack of availability of that version, I bought it at swappa for $200 and sold it 6 months later for $215 woot
On the box it shows LG H791 like you assumed Frown so it can not be used for this promotion?

I have not been able to get a straight answer from sprint...

I am on a family plan, contract over. Can I sign up for a new line in my name and port my existing number over to it and still get this deal (I don't want to lose my current #)?

Also, I have a sprint LG G4. Can I use that or do I have to buy a phone on the list, then switch to the G4 once everything is set up?

Thank you!

Family plan on which carrier?
Sorry - I am part of a sprint family plan that is not in my name. The contact for my line is up. I have a sprint LG G4 I would liker to use (the one that is currently used on the sprint family plan that is not in my name). I would like to port my existing number from the sprint family plan to a new sprint account under my name with this plan using the G4. If needed, I do have other, much older, non listed sprint phones to play with to set this up S4, evo 3d, etc.

Thank you for your help and detailed responses!

Keep calling Sprint until you get someone who knows how to change the MVNO flag. Don't tell them that you want to sign up for the free plan until the MVNO flag is changed to SPCS because they will just tell you that it is not eligible for the free plan.
....
Thank you very much, macrokelvin.

BTW, what is the best reason should I tell Sprint's tech support...for changing the MVNO flag of my Moto-E (2nd Gen) to SPCS?
I'll keep trying...wishing me all the lucks !!! Big Grin

I am not sure what you are smoking, me and others have signed up with s8 unlocked without any issue at all, just give them the imei, and the sprint sim that sent from samsung. One phone call got me signed up 2 weeks ago.

If you own an unlocked S8 it should be one the easiest device to sign on to this plan

People need to STOP giving out false info about plan/device/issue, since most people only read the last few page of the thread and dont use search to find info..if you give out false info it just make new comer who want to sign the deal ask more unnecessary questions

Come on this is nothing new about H791 doesnt support CDMA just google around and you see these which answer your question

https://social.ringplus.net/discu...h-ringplus

https://www.reddit.com/r/nexus5x/...nal_nexus/

http://www.techtimes.com/articles...n-ebay.htm

should be noted, however, that the Nexus 5X being sold is the international H791 model of the smartphone, which is of the GSM variant. This means that the smartphone will work with all of the LTE bands of AT&T and two out of the three main LTE bands of T-Mobile, but it would not work with Sprint or Verizon.

The Verizon postpaid SIM method only works on devices that are subjected to the US Reseller Flex Policy.

You can open a new Sprint account using your SSN. You cannot port in your existing Sprint number for this deal. If you want to keep your existing Sprint number, you have to port it to another carrier and then port it back to Sprint for this deal. You have to deactivate the LG G4 and remove it from the Sprint family plan before you can use it for this deal.

Applied over phone for 1st year free offer

1. Got free sprint sim card at apple store
2. Got account number and password for transfer from previous carrier and phone imei
3. Called number from wiki.
4. While on call you have to spell everything to rep: name, surname, address, ssn, imei, sim icc, email, security questions. Be prepared
5. Rep told me that I can add lines to this plan, just need to call them.
6. Rep offered phone protection - declined
7. Rep offered free android tablet with $15/per month per line - declined
8. Rep didn't set up autopay, however asked cc info. Had to setup it later on sprint website.
After around 5 min after call old sim showed no service, inserted sprint sim and everything worked, got lte.

Side question about bestbuy offer.
I tried to add iphone se 64gb for 4.99/month to bestbuy cart, selected add as new line. It showed my plan as LTE Provisioning w/Hotspot $0.00/mo.
Question is will it be added as new line to 1st year free plan or it will get some new plan?
How to get free sprint SIM from apple stores? Just tell them you have an iPhone and want a SIM card? Thanks for any advice.
