Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.
Can I cancel after the first year?
Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Quote from comintel :
Sprint often waives the FED check for port onto its own post-paid service only (but would not allow the device to be activated onto MVNO's such as Ting). (After all, the goal of the FED check is to require that the device spend more time on a Sprint entity, which is exactly what you are doing). If it chooses to waive it, by allowing it to be activated for this offer, so much the better for you and you are fine and you do not have to worry about it.
The only real issue is if OP goes to unlock the phone. If it fails FED, they won't unlock it.

somewhat related, FreedomPop started throttle. http://www.prepaidphonenews.com/2...-free.html
Quote :
With throttling, FreedomPop is decreasing the value of their paid options, which seems like a dumb move for a freemium service. It makes it look like FreedomPop has given up on selling paid plans to free plan users.

With the throttling limited to the Sprint side, this change makes FreedomPop's GSM LTE SIMs even more attractive than ever. I routinely get 15 mbps with my FreedomPop LTE SIM on the free plan. Of course there's nothing to stop FreedomPop from throttling GSM account too, but currently GSM is the way to go.

The Sprint rep gave you the wrong info.
never mind, chatted with another CSR and said notes were placed on my account which Best Buy can see and they should be able to add a new plan with new phone.

Did you download the bill PDF? That should have the correct dates.

i have a question about making a new account on H20 Wireless, i read here when you make a new account people say it doesn't need to be funded. but their website makes you choose a minimum $10 pay as you go. chat also says the line must be re charged at time of activation.

I got charged for 1 day of service as well, but i think it's a setup issue. I chatted with the representative, and she advised me to look at the PDF version of the bill, and the bill does say it's actually from June to July. So the website is showing a date that's actually one day before you started the service. for example, you ported the number on 15th, the website would show from June 14th - June 14th, but the bill would actually be June 15th to July 14th, like that.

Thank you! You are correct, the dates were wrong on the website, but correct on the PDF.

Yes after I hit the 100mb restriction 1 day into my vacation they totally shut off the data. Switching back to Verizon the second I get home. Free isn't worth it if I don't have a phone. Sprint is going bankrupt for sure.
Thanks for the update, this deal would also be worthless to me. I ordered a sim but haven't yet ported my number. I knew about the 100mb roaming limit but didn't think they'd completely shut off your data, just warn you if you go over it too many times.

I am not sure what you are smoking, me and others have signed up with s8 unlocked without any issue at all, just give them the imei, and the sprint sim that sent from samsung. One phone call got me signed up 2 weeks ago.

If you own an unlocked S8 it should be one the easiest device to sign on to this plan

People need to STOP giving out false info about plan/device/issue, since most people only read the last few page of the thread and dont use search to find info..if you give out false info it just make new comer who want to sign the deal ask more unnecessary questions
Were you able to sign up for the 1 year offer through sprint website. Coz my phone imei was not eligible. I called up the customer care to sort it out

Thank you very much, macrokelvin.

BTW, what is the best reason should I tell Sprint's tech support...for changing the MVNO flag of my Moto-E (2nd Gen) to SPCS?
I'll keep trying...wishing me all the lucks !!! Big Grin
Was the phone ever on ringplus or ting. If so contact ting and they can set the flag to SPCS.

8. Rep didn't set up autopay, however asked cc info. Had to setup it later on sprint website.
Just checked my account to be sure and my Autopay was already setup fortunately, but glad you mentioned it.

"AutoPay will be processed on your due date. Your next AutoPay is scheduled for 07/26/17."

LG G4 (Verizon) [VS986] - "Sorry, but this device can't be activated with Sprint service. Try another device or shop for a new one."

I checked online and it appears that the Verizon model has the right bands, but I could be mistake. Would the G4 work if I can get the IMEI added to the Sprint system?

I'm curious if anyone has seen the Credit Union Rewards show up on their account, yet. I'm not asking whether the cash rewards tracker shows approval -- but whether you see Credit Union Member Cash Reward added to your line under View Plans and Services on the Sprint website.

Regular plans usually get this added to a line in a week or two even though the rewards will still be showing as Pending on the Reward Tracker website.
