Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

There is a way to add non-Sprint but otherwise capable models of the S7/S7E/S8/S8+, but it's a huge YMMV. I wrote these instructions a few years ago regarding the Nexus 6, but everything here is still valid:
https://www.reddit.com/r/Sprint/c...torola_on/

When referring to the phone, make sure you only ever refer to it as an unlocked S7/S7E/S8/S8+. The second you bring another carrier into the mix, you'll likely get shut down.

Let me know how it goes, guys!
So my Sprint S7 Edge is showing as ineligible. Is this because it's not the Special Edition? Is there anything I can do about it? Thanks.

Able to port google voice # successfully. Everything working fine including text. Only issue was during porting, they have to manually do it. Otherwise everything was fine.

When did you do your porting. Mine is stuck for more than 4 days even after calling their porting department. "Your number transfer is in progress. We are waiting for a response from your old provider." They think GV is not releasing the #.

Finally decided to set up an account. Used T-Mobile prepaid. Took 20 mins to call and activate 5 lines with T-Mobile and then 45 mins to call in and setup the account with Sprint and port over those 5 lines. Used 5 Sprint iPhones, which simplified sign up since Sprint already had the SIM ICCIDs for the phones (I only read off the IMEIs, didn't need to read off the ICCIDs). Port completed within minutes without the need to call back or do anything extra on my part. Account appears to be set up correctly online. Definitely worth an hour of my time.

Sorry about that. I ordered online for pickup $2.49 a month paid off dpp $59.76.

Did you do upgrade? $2.49 is only good on upgrades you might have got add a line price.
How did you do an upgrade? I have 4 active lines on Unlimited 1 year free - BYOD, but all say not eligible for an upgrade until around 6/19. And I don't understand why they aren't upgrade eligible, since they are my devices and fully paid for. I'm also pretty furious that BB did a credit check on me despite the fact that I am approved for 5 lines, and I didn't end up getting the J3 because they told me that the $6.50/mo. price would only be credited back over 24 months meaning that if I left Sprint earlier than 2 years I would not continue to receive credits and therefore the price would be at least $78 + $11 tax and no $90 BB Gift Card. So I would like to know how I can do an upgrade, how you did an upgrade (I tried on BB website but also got not eligible for an upgrade).

Did you use TMobile Prepaid sim card kits? Do you know of a good source for the sim card kits? I used my last three on this Sprint deal so I need to reload.

I just want to add a comment for those reading this thread for the first time that are thinking of switching to Sprint but are worried there are too many hoops to jump through. I ported 4 numbers from post paid T-Mobile 100% online with no Customer Service interaction using the SIM cards Sprint sent me and had no issues.

$23.60 for 4 SIM cards overnighted from Sprint.

$11.32 per month for 4 lines. ($2.83 each)

Download speeds in Columbus, Ohio vary between 3mbps in buildings to 120mbps outside near a tower. I have not been without signal unlike T-Mobile.

iPhone 6s x 2 (unlocked)
Motorola X Pure
Samsung S7 Edge (SM-G935U)

There are so many posts here about swapping phones, removing flags, buying SIM cards from somewhere other than Sprint it may be discouraging for some that are thinking about making the switch. Only a few more days left!

You can't do upgrade via ur sprint byod 1 year plan for a few more months. Its in the terms. I can only assume the other guy getting it had a non byod plan that he upgraded
