You will get $50 only if you opened 2nd line within 7 days of account opening, your friend gets $0.
As a referrer or referee, you can receive $50 reward for each new line activation up to $500 per calendar year. " Is the "within 7 days" a not shown term?
Question: Once a phone is whitelisted will it remain that way from here on out even of it is deactivated and activated on a different line later on down the road?
Worst case, if you have to whitelist, just go back to the Sprint BYOD offer page and pretend to sign up with that phone's IMEI and any non Sprint phone number and go through the first 2 steps till you have to enter in contact information. I am finding that completing those first two steps whitelists the device (if eligible of course) and it becomes available through the online portal when you go to swap the device.
Speaking of, what is the best way to go about activating the new phone / line on sprint? Since I already went through setup with VZ SIM, do I just pop in the sprint SIM or do I need to reset phone and do setup again with sprint SIM?
Part 1
My wife has an 800+ credit score. She ordered the SIMs and got a letter saying her credit was denied. Called them and they said she needed to go into the store and verify identity with 2 pieces of ID. The store people were completely clueless so she called the credit department number listed on the letter. To cut a long story short after 3 hours in the store and talking to the credit dept they were unable to resolve it and they ran a 2nd credit application. Which Sprint denied again for some mysterious reason. "You will receive a letter in the mail explaining why".
Took 2 hard pulls for no reason.
Part 2
I ended up applying in my name and was approved instantly. My credit score is (slightly) lower than hers. Her iphone SE was switched to Sprint and all we see is 1x or 3G coverage. 2.06 Mbps down and 0.85 down. The Sprint cell site is 300 feet away!
My T-mobile is 27.7 Mbps down and 31.9 up. (Ok the T-mobile cell site is right on top of my office building; Sprint is 2 buildings away).
I was planning to switch too but now I'm having second thoughts...
Edit: Was able to successfully swap a Verizon iPhone onto my existing line via chat.
Service is terrible. Call quality is bad and lte speeds are all over the place but generally slow in NYC.
Best part, got my bill for 7/21 to 7/21.
1 day $3.46
What kind of bs is that?

If you read the T&C you should also see:
Customers on BYOD 1YearFree plan are NOT eligible for Sprint Referral Rewards program.
So the only thing you should do is simply sign up and cross your finger and stop asking useless question based on T&C
Since you are already NOT eligible based on the T&C
