3 questions:

1) After you establish a line(s), do additional lines still need to be ports, or can they be "new" numbers
2) Any big-box retailer (preferably NOT Best Buy) where I can walk in and buy a compatible phone?
3) Where/how do I get the T mobile prepaid # for $3?

TIA :-)
1. AFAIK, every line added to this plan (at any time) has to be ported in

2. limited options will carry sprint phones.try: frys, sams club, walmart target, and of course, best buy.

3. try a tmobile store, or give them a call

I have yet to see even 1 person claim they were charged $500, let alone "people".
I would like to see the post where that happened.
That's true. By "it" I just meant people tend to have problems of one type or another if they go to a store for this offer (since it is not available in stores) and can end up on a paid plan. You would not get to $500 by that route, though, as you note......

Also, when adding a line to the plan, people should verify by asking 2 or 3 times during the call at the time it is being added that it is going on the free byod plan at a cost of $5 a month less $5 autopay credit.

Just a quick update for anyone in a similar situation. My 1 out of 3 lines is still on the wrong $45 2GB plan. I called again and they said a manager would take care of it, e-mail me and I should see the 3rd phone corrected under the free 1 year BYOD. Funny thing is, I don't even see that 3rd line listed under my account at all. Something was done terribly wrong on this 3rd line Frown

Thanks, I think I might be OK. The plan shows correctly now on the sprint app on the phone but it's not showing in the online dashboard yet. I'll check back tomorrow and hope that it clears properly.

Is there any way I can purchase an iPhone under the iPhone Upgrade Program (financed through Apple) and move the device to one of my lines?

Was used with RingPlus. I ran it through Ting, but still can't get passed Sprint test. Does it take a few days? How can I do PLBL flag change? Thanks!

Think the $3 is for a sim card from eBay. Any new, never activated sim card can be activated with prepaid. They may try to require you to fund it upon opening though. Ymmv. Think many have gotten by with inquiring about the free 30 min or text and they would fund it or pick a plan later

I have an unlocked Galaxy S8 I'm currently using with this promo. If I want to swap to an unlocked Galaxy Note 8 instead, can I just put the sim card in the Note 8, or do I have to do anything with Sprint to get it working? And I assume it won't effect this promo any?
