Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Essential phone Sprint users. New OTA update NMK24B. All current security patches and LTE fix for those with the band 41 issue.
I knew they would come through. Works great!
Turns out the LTE issue is NOT fixed. Booooo

If i want to swap later, can i swap it with phones NOT listed as eligible (but can work with sprint?)
Yes but you could also just activate those other phones directly in the first place.
Swapping adds no magic.
I have activated 3 phones not on the list. Swap 'em on or activate them directly, same criteria apply (and the so called eligibility list does not limit you in either case).

You can start it off on the Dashboard.
Click on Activate.
It will lead youn through a Swap with prompts.
Occasionally it works. Often it leads you to a chat and they help you do it.

I doubt it as those are Verizon models I assume if they are from Comcast.

ok so what is the best way to renew for a 2nd year? say if you can put it on another persons name ...do we have to port out and stay on another service provider for a set amount of days then sign up again? or how does it work ...also still no word on when this will expire?

It expires internally within Sprint every month-end. So far, Sprint has been renewing it at that time every month but one day there simply be no renewal at month end and so there will be no more signups. Formally speaking, in terms of external commitment, there is nothing to stop them ending it at any moment.

The latest renewal gives new subscribers now 1 year and 3 months free, which gives Sprint the flexibility to keep the promo open another 3 months without having to keep revising the advertising material, but does not require it to do so of course.

If you start a new account under a different SSN, you can do so immediately without any waiting period. If you want to use the same SSN on a new account, you will probably have to wait 45 days after the original account has been finally and fornally closed by Sprint on its books (which might be much later than you thought unless you made sure it actually got closed on their books). You would have to port out all numbers and port them back in from scratch in the new account.

I've ported out all my lines from Sprint acct, do I need to call to close my account, or it will be automatically closed since there is no line under that acct?

I have done the same myself and I am going to make sure with Billing that it is officially closed. I would not count on that happening automatically.

Right now I am working on getting my Magic Box off the account before going any further.

If you are really venturesome you could try opening a new account right away in case it goes through but it might be risky or they might give you the old expiry date from your original account.
