Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

My year is almost up. I have an account and so does my wife. Any way to port out and back in since we each have separate accounts?

Please review the wiki. Be sure to click the hyperlinks. It's pretty simple. Be sure to call the sprint promo number to sign up.

You need to sign up with a different SSN. But someone called the promo number and somehow they managed to extend it another year. Worth a try. Report back if successful

Check exact end dates on the DashBoard - Manage Plan / See Details. Do not go by what a rep. said.

Then combine accounts (port out, port in) to kill off one of them immediately. 45 days later you will be able to reuse the SSN of the one you killed. That will still be before July 31 and there is a good chance the promo will run to July 31.

It might end earlier, but at least you have something with good potential underway while you try other less certain things as noted by hodaddy (e.g. plead or try several reps to open a new account early) as well.

I have a Moto G6 question for you guys. I have a G4 Play now and when I activate a new phone within my account and plug in the IMEI it takes me to the next step and asks if I:

1. Use the SIM card that came with my device (displays the ICCID that matches the box the phone came. (how does it know this?)
2. Use a new SIM
3 Enter a device code (HEX, DEC, IMEI/MEID.

I'm not certain what to do here. Do I need to instead install the SIM from my current phone into the new phone or just use the one the phone came with, or? It has Sprint's logo on it but this is a boost phone (I know they're a MVNO).

I went ahead and clicked to use the SIM that cam with the new device (option 1) and it took me to a screen that says to complete the active please click the chat icon or make an appointment. Still curious what I need to do in the SIM situation seeing as it doesn't appear to have taken.

It's rare for online swapping to work. Just use chat but be sure NOT to mention it's a boost phone. If you are activating a second line, you must call the promo line. Use the sim that came with the device.

Correct the poster cannot activate an additional new line within his account online OR BY CHAT (or more exactly he can but it will be a paid line) if that is what he is trying. Maybe he is swapping and if so that is fine and he just needs to proceed to chat as indicated. No need to touch any sims.

Jumping back in with one of my patented dumb questions: has anyone successfully activated a new unlocked G6? (from amazon, fry's or BH)

I've sifted thru several recent pages of posts and see reference to the G6 play but I'm asking about the MOTO G6 (not the play version). TIA!

I have the same question, picking one up tomorrow. Can't I just take the sim out of my current Sprint phone use it in the new G6 without having to activate anything else?

Is it G6 or G6 play... And did you tell them it was sprint prepaid phone or did they tell you this after getting IMEI from you ?
