Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

That would not affect me because I use PDANet Android Tether rather than the built-in hotspot anyway.
i had that for a while and i am "somewhat" familiar with the app.
when i did use it, i found that i had to connect my laptop to the phone with usb )not wirelessly) and i would get the hotspot.
is it possible to connect another phone or tablet to my phone wireless ly?
or is that only in the paid version?

You do not have to wait for the letter.

Most likely you just answered a question "wrong" in their computer's quiz based on public databases about who you are.

Call their Credit Dept directly at 800-639-6116 and ask a supervisor to override and give you a different set of questions.

Worth a try anyway.
Thanks Ok will try that. Only questions they asked was personal info. Name bdate SSN street address. There was no "quiz" That's it. Unless the rep mistyped the info

And it seems like that common. On Reddit it seems like some folks had to go thru that route to get override

I do use USB Tether.
They used to have Wifi suport via FoxFi but that no longer works in current Android versions.
They did add a Wifi option using Wifi Direct recently but I found it too awkward to use. It is not a hotspot but a direct connection.

There is another program valled Wifi Tether Router that will probably do what you want but it requires Root and is not free.

Still another option is to tether via PDANet to PC and share out via the PC's wifi. However this is complex to set up. I did use it for a while after much setup effort.

There are compatibility and locking reasons for those to fail.
Branded S9's are not yet supported because Samsung has not yet released brand switching like it did for S8. They may be releasing it soon.

If you used it on an mvno such as Tello etc. you will have to get the mvno flag flipped to use it on Postpaid. Search LiterallyUnlimited in this thread for how to do that.
That is the actual cause of that poorly-worded message.
yes, it did use on Ringplus for some fun...
but the device becomes ".... our records show you still owe Sprint for this device. Sign in to find this device on your account."

It always says EXACTLY that when it was used on an MVNO. Do not read it literally. We have gone through this dozens of times.

Just join reddit and get LiterallyUnlimited to push it back to Postpaid and it will go on fine.

Actually no, because I was part of the first 10k posts when this came out last year helping people get referrals and the original setup going. I'm sure you knew that thought since you read them all. The wiki doesn't mention anything about using same phone/Sim, at least not that I found in the t-mobile port area. Either way thanks for the help...
1.I said nothing about the wiki.

2. the post I replied to said nothing about using the same phone/sim.

3. this deal never had anything to do with referrals.

4.I have read them all.

5. I said two different things. I didn't say your question and answer was in the first 10k posts. I said it's in the last 500 pages. Not the same thing.

6. I also didn't say you did anything wrong. My comment is about why there are 20,000 posts.

7. you are welcome.

If it is LG X Charge it does not have Sprint bands:
https://phatwalletforums.com/topi...-expired/3

"AFTER you request unlock, it WILL NOT support Sprint, as all Sprint devices have to be whitelisted and even if it was whitelisted, it is missing 4G LTE bands 25, 26, 41 so all you will get is 3G."

anyone running into problems with their order? i couldn't complete the order online and called Sprint. They helped me set up account over the phone, ran the credit check and said it got denied. how is that so? my credit score is 800 and asked them for specific details, and all he said was "we are going to send you a letter in the mail" WTF?!?! screw that
the credit check has little or nothing to do with your credit score. It's to make sure you are who you say you are.

When mine was checked they asked obscure questions gleaned from my credit history; like addresses that are associated with it or merchants I've dealt with. Sometimes it's hard to remember if you've got a long credit history.
