Oh I can upgrade now. But at fullprice $29.xx per month for the Iphone 8. Needless to say, thats not something a self respecting slickdealer would do. Peace

It depends on the seller. Some are great. Some are terrible. Some may be criminal enterprises out to steal some numbers.
True. You have to think at a minimum the virtual Sims are hacked. No reason for TMO to sell them to resellers.

In any case, I got my code within 2 hours from the seller in the link within the wiki.

Ported over, no problem.

how do I ensure that my sprint account is closed? I have to reuse my own SS# after 45 days to get a second year free, so I'm closing my old account and moving my number to my girlfriend's account. my line has already changed ownership to be under her account...is that all I need to do?

I can still sign in and view bills on my old account, but when I click on something like "Usage" it brings up an error saying the account is not active. so I assume I'm good, and that my 45 days starts from when my number officially changed ownership?

I have been interested in moving to Sprint for some time now so this promotion finally prompted me to make the move for two lines. I submitted my info online and then had to call to finish the process and I was DENIED!

My FICO credit score is over 800 and they could not tell me why. Said they would send a letter in a week. Not exactly upfront, so I cannot figure this one out.

My brother who has credit in the 600's moved to sprint last week (although he did not sign up for the free year promotion). Not sure what Sprint is thinking shake head

I have seen a couple instances of this happening in this thread, but not sure how widespread this is. Anyone else having similar issue?

FICO score has nothing to do with it. It's primarily to prove you are really you. So of course if you fail they aren't going to tell a possible identity thief WHY they failed.

Purchased my T-Mobile Digital Sim earlier today. Just waited on hold for 45 minutes with T-Mobile. Had my phone number, account number, PIN and Sim Card ready to go. Ported both numbers out in less than 10 minutes. She verified that it went through but here is were I got confused. The T-Mobile representative said that I would be on Sprint and T-Mobile at the same time for the next 24 hours. Also, that I would get a text message from T-Mobile once the process is complete. Seeing as I don't actually have the physical SIM card that is not going to happen. My phone still shows Sprint and 3 bars of service. The Sprint Eligibility checker says my phone number is not eligible. Hopefully this doesn't take to long. Want to be able to call Sprint and get back sooner than later.
Wondering about this too.. Wiki says should be done in under 3 hours?!

I have a magic box in my account. So do I need to return the magic box first then swap my other 2 lines or I can swap my other 2 lines first using a new SSN and return the magic box later?

If anyone is looking for an alternative to T-Mobile's digital sim card, I just ordered this: http://r.ebay.com/D8ZFxv

I have ported out Tracfone before and it was simple and easy.

My sim card is supposed to come in on Thursday so I'll update soon.

Gotta speak to their credit department, but its likely they were unable to verify your identity with the information provided. Whichever credit bureau they used may not have correct personal information.

Unlike the first year of this service, start of 2nd year has been nothing but trouble. After the port and account set up, I have not been able to make or receive calls. Day after this was solved, text messages stopped. After text message issue was solved, I just realized I am not receiving short codes. What the f is wrong with them with all these shits turned off by default? What non-working crap should I expect next?

Thanks everyone for the advice, info and wiki. My first year was about to end so yesterday I purchased 2 Digital Sims on eBay and ported to T-Mobile last night after. Was on hold for 40 minutes but after that the process took less than 10 minutes. This morning called Sprint sales and switched back using my wife's information. Took about an hour with Sprint but have another free year.

Now, looking to get a basic phone for my son and add him to my plan. He is 10 so I just need a relatively basic smartphone for emergencies. Any suggestions???

i have been pleased with the "like new phones " i have bought from ebay seller

yywirelesss

look for
lg g5 (~85)
lg v20 (~120)
orbic wonder (~75)

or look for the boost moto g6play at walmrat for $80

i know lots of people having good things to say about boost phone

i personally would take a "like new" lg v20 over new boost g6 play..if price were similar..
