Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

I BYOD'd my 6S and bought a XS (paid in full at the Apple store, not through Sprint or financed) and
I'm on hour 6 (seriously) of trying to get it activated. They finally told me that my device didn't qualify for that plan.

Meanwhile if I log into my account, it tells me I have an upgrade and I can get it through Sprint with no changes to my account. (Just a nasty shipping fee and upgrade fee you can sidestep by activating yourself).

I am going thru the long post and a bit confused. From what I have read so far the deal expires in Oct 2018. However, I see some are still trying to renew. Can someone confirm if I am a new Customer and I can still get this deal for a year. Thanks in advance.

Many people have issues activating Xs Max today. Do you know if you have the right sim card?

Only got 3g data and half bars signal... It's a moto x4 (Android 8.1)from project Fi. Tried reset network, *#*#72786#*#*, updating prl and device config. (oh I did this with data roaming closed, does it matter?) Can't find the reset APN buttun(can't find an app to support resetting apn). Tech rep wasn't helping...

edit: got LTE finally!
talked to a tech rep, he refreshed my service, and I did the dial thing and prl, then got it done. However the signal is still around half the bars...

I bought the same phone to use on Project Fi, even ordered the SIM from Google, but decided to activate on Sprint instead. I've only had it for a day so far, but data doesn't seem to work. Maybe I need to talk to a tech rep.

Yes you can still get this deal. Follow the steps in the WIki to activate new service if you meet the requirements.

You must have found some old reference.
You can sign up now and the current end of savings date is 11/30/19. It gets moved out periodically to always give new customers well over a year.

Since Sprint can't add my unlocked E4, anyone have suggestions on where/what to use? I'm looking for a phone in the $120 range, with a compatable spec to E4 plus, or a E4 for less than 60 bucks? Can I buy a boost mobile phone and use it on Sprint? I can't find a Z2 near me.
Boost phones are not allowed. There has been a loophole for the G6 play and possibly the E5 but it's not a sure thing. If I were signing up right now I would look for a Z2 force on eBay or swappa. There are tons for sale because of the recent Best Buy/ Sprint deal. If you buy one do be sure it has never been used without a screen protector. Google it.

This is the super easy way to fix that nexus 6:

1) Install "Change APN" app from Google store
2) Open ChangeAPN and click the "option" ( the 3 vertical dots) in the upper right hand corners.
3) click "reset to default"
4) exit the app
5) perform carrier reset (note: need to use the *#*#72786#*#* as noted by someone previously)
6) after the phone rebooted, perform PRL/Device config update.

That's it and you should have LTE data.

Note: You may not need to perform step 5 or 6. Just try a reboot after step 4.
Thanks! I can't seem to find 'change apn' in Google Play. Nevertheless, your tip led me to google ways to reset APN on Nexus 6P on Sprint.

This is what works for me: By default, Sprint's SIM hides the APN menu in the Settings. I have to dial *#*#DATA#*#* to enable that menu, select APN, click the 3 dots in the upper right corner, and then select 'reset to default'.

Voila! Now I have LTE. A quick speed test shows I only have 3mb/s downstream and a measely 0.08mb/s up. Frown Still, that beats 3G by a long shot. Smilie

I finally got escalated to someone who stated the following was the SIM card for the XS:
SKU: CZ2114TLWQ
Model number: SIMGLW416TQ
UPC: 019962041648

The Sprint store does not sell SIM cards (funny because I bought a SIM from that same store a month ago...) but mine didn't receive a shipment of SIMs compatible. They directed me to Best Buy to purchase one there and they gave me the following and said it would be compatible:
Model: SIMGLW426Q
UPC: 019962041648
They activated about a dozen phones with that SIM, won't activate for me.

Considering it took 4 calls to Sprint, a call to Apple, 2 chat sessions with Sprint, a trip to the store, and a Facebook IM session and every time they gave me incorrect information I'm guessing they're either unable or unwilling to activate these devices on this plan.

If anyone has success please post the model number of the SIM you're using.
