Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Do you mean the part number for iphone x is also for iphone xs? Since Im upgrading from iphone 6 plus and I remember the sim card for my phone is different from iphone x. Do i need a new sim and update both the sim card and device IMEI?
According to the compatibility list of your SIM it should support the iPhone 4S through X. It may be extremely time-consuming to port over without a new, never-used SIM card so if a Sprint store is close then I'd just buy a new one.

The iPhone Xs/max will use SIMOLW516TQ, SIMGLW416TQ, or SIMOLW416TQ.
The 516TQ is considered the byod sim(tricut) but all 3 should work.
Since these sim card part numbers are new(have not been used in other sprint phones) availability may be limited.
Also the Xs has embedded sim(e-sim) but is not supported yet.

Imei may not of been added also to sprint database..
You can try pushing it by entering on ting byod with find my iPhone off.

I can confirm that my never-used SIMOLW416TQ did not activate and was considered incompatible by Sprint.

In my BYOD package I received a SIMOLW506C which I used with my 6s and later 5s once the 6s died.

How can we add it? Do we add it before leave the states or can we add it once we are in Japan via text?

I did't try it. However, I was in Tokyo a month ago and I got free LTE from SoftBank, which owns Sprint. Softbank/Sprint actually sent me a text to let me know it's LTE and it's free.

I activated my wife's Verizon S8 about 6 months ago and it has been working fine since. The phone changed to a "Sprint" phone after I put a sprint sim card in.

Those are sims listed to work. You sure you have a 416TQ and not 416Q or 406TQ. If not working then problem is on Sprints end.
The XS/max are the first phones to use these sims so Sprint must have dropped the ball.
These phones shouldn't even need a removable sim because they have an embedded sim but the carriers don't support that either yet.

426Q works on iPhone 8,X. In that post the 426Q had wrong upc as it was the same 416TQ. The upc for simglw426Q should be 019962041341.
I hope Sprint figures it out as this will upset the customers.

One must have a phone number that has already registered to the other phone company. In other words, you cannot buy an unlock new phone to take advantage of this offer; otherwise, it will displays " Sorry, but this device can't be activated with Sprint service. Try another device, or Shop for a new device."

Just called and activated over the phone (I got my official unlocked iPhone 6s plus + used nano sim from eBay). The lady over the phone asked for my SSN, some SSN security questions, credit card # for auto pay, freedompop account number, freedompop phone number (are they the same?), pin number, name address, email...etc. $30 activation fees waived. And she enrolled me to Sprint complete saying that normal port in period will take up to 48hrs but since I got Sprint complete she can speed it up to 15min max....(?) Now I plug in the Sprint SIM nothing happened yet.....any ideas whats going on?
