Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Recently got the Iphone Xs, and am a BYOD customer @ sprint. Needless to say, the whole SIM card issue doesn't give me a good impression of Sprint.

I restored my iPhone from my previous profile (from Iphone 6s). Is it just me, or is anyone else running into issues getting WiFi Calling to work properly? I can not get it to work, at all.

When I had the 6S, I noticed I had the Wifi Calling for iOS devices on my sprint services. Now I only see "Wifi calling".

Has anyone else had this issue enabling Wifi Calling?

don't know what you mean by "profile" but if you swapped devices sometimes you have to call and they will reset wifi calling for you.

why is it Sprint's fault Apple didn't give you the right sim ? You gave Apple $1000 and pay Sprint nothing per month and it's Sprint's fault ?

My wife and I have an iPhone SE and iPhone 6 bought unlocked from Apple . We are using it on a non sprint network. Is there a way I can get this 1 year plan offer and then trade in both the devices for a iPhone XS? Suggestions please

You mean via Chat? Chat does not support the free plan or know the details and says things like that all the time. Call the number ending in 8777. You cannot sign up online with your own sim. You have to call the number ending in 8777 only.
I called them multiple times and they keep having issues saying it's compatible and then saying it's ineligible or the SIM is incompatible with the XS Max

Are you using a sim ending in 416TQ? (516TQ is fine too and maybe some other X16TQ as well)

What does this checker say? https://www.sprint.com/en/landing...hone.html?

Is the phone paid off and unlocked?

Anyone got lucky porting a number from Freedompop to Sprint? I contacted Freedompop asking myport out info (since the port out info page was blank) and gave the exact info to Sprint, it is the second day Sprint comes back saying Freedompop rejected the request due to port out info not matched...plus Sprint saying that the previous carrier is a landline not Freedompop...? My number got recycled randomly once by Freedompop so I want to keep this number so bad I want to park it with Spring...any ideas?

FreedomPop uses different local carriers in different areas. Often Bandwidth.com. So yes, it is a landline / voip line. And yes, another carrier is involved. I am just explaining those parts. So it can take time to sort out issues, that's all, since additional carriers are involved. FP has to pass the info to the local carrier and vice versa. Where it is a small local carrier (let me guess yours may be an oddball one) that carrier may not be following FP's porting instructions exactly first time.

Unfortunately, the hotspot feature is removed from this plan.
Works just fine with PDANet though! Just gotta make sure you set up the proxy script properly on the computer you're tethering on and you're good to go. I tested it out earlier this morning when I did the speed tests and it works like a charm.

Good to know. I bought that app ages ago but stopped using it since tethering was included in my att plan. I'm one week in to my Sprint service and so far so good.

Sounds like you need a new ISP that goes down once or twice a year for a few hours and not a new cell carrier.
Comcast has several outages that happen because this neighborhood uses coax that is close to 30 years old and they have to constantly come out and replace wires that hang on the telephone poles. On the plus side though our city is starting to run both fiber and copper coax under the ground starting with my area of the city which will really help with the down times. More so though I prefer to have a spare hotspot I can carry around with me when I need it, such as when I visit my friend that doesn't have internet installed in her house yet because someone used her social security number to create a Comcast account and she's in the process of having those charges taken off of her profile. Once that's taken care of she can sign up once again with them and have cable internet.

For a while she was actually considering just signing up for Netbuddy and using AT&T LTE for her internet connection, but she got the news recently that the charges are indeed being removed from her account and as soon as that happens she can schedule a truck roll and have her modem and router connected and get back on the net once and for all.

I expected Sprint to be able to hit at least 10-15mbps but right now 6mbps is the highest I've seen even with a rather recent Android device. Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile all get at least 40mbps during speedtests around the entire city...makes me glad this phone's plan only costs me about $3-4 per month.

I also have an iPhone 5s att. The wiki says it isn't supported. Should I try to call customer service anyway?

Give it some time. Tower upgrades are still taking place in preparation for VoLTE. It also helps to have a late model phone with HPUE. I'm seeing speed increases throughout the Chicagoland area.
