Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Give it some time. Tower upgrades are still taking place in preparation for VoLTE. It also helps to have a late model phone with HPUE. I'm seeing speed increases throughout the Chicagoland area.
Don't expect Sprint to do anything to upgrade their infrastructure until merging into T-mobile to eliminate all CDMA junk

Anyone got lucky porting a number from Freedompop to Sprint? I contacted Freedompop asking myport out info (since the port out info page was blank) and gave the exact info to Sprint, it is the second day Sprint comes back saying Freedompop rejected the request due to port out info not matched...plus Sprint saying that the previous carrier is a landline not Freedompop...? My number got recycled randomly once by Freedompop so I want to keep this number so bad I want to park it with Spring...any ideas?
I ported one number from FreedomPop to Sprint couple of months ago and it did take couple of weeks. I had to contact both side several times and got the number transferred finally.

I also have an iPhone 5s att. The wiki says it isn't supported. Should I try to call customer service anyway?
Edit It looks like if initial carrier was ATT model A1533 that CDMA would be disabled so won't work. If initial carrier was Verizon A1533 it would work on Sprint band 25 and ATt. If initial carrier was Sprint model A1453(would still work on Att) would have band 25,26 LTE for Sprint. What does checker say?

I just signed up for the 1-year free Sprint plan (switching from MetroPCS) after activating my e-bates toolbar, and instantly received a $100 cash back from e-bates! This is the most rebate I've ever received from them. Will be looking forward to my next big fat check.

EDIT: Why is Slickdeals censoring the word e b a t e s?

If initial carrier distribution network was T-Mobile most likely it will not because it has no CDMA capability for sprint. Check model, if A1661 will work on sprint if A1784 will not.

Wait, you can get cashback too? That pays for the monthly cost and then some.

Edit: I see other cashback options too, and A A has 25K miles offer for a new Sprint account. Does the Free Unlimited plan work for these?

How exactly did you do it? Now Sprint keep calling me saying the port in process is stuck because the old carrier rejected the port out request due to porting info not matching. I got a new piece of info which is the phone number is a landline from Broadvox (not from Freedompop). Freedompop hasn't get back to me yet....(they provided me the account number 1 plus my phone number, pin, account name and zip code) Sprint is asking way more questions like last 4 ssn, full street address, how long did I have the FP #, business or personal use....etc.....I am about to call Sprint and cancel the deal...

No
No
No, as cgigate can attest to, TMobile iPhone 7 is GSM only.

I'm going to give this a shot and take my paid off iPhone X from Verizon to Sprint. Can someone confirm that if I want to leave Sprint after trying it out that I won't have any trouble taking the phone back to Verizon (or another carrier). I read some reports that Sprint locks the phone once you bring it under their service. Has anyone had this happen?
Sure you can Port right out. That's the sure-fire way to find out if it's going to work for you. Try it.
If you're coming up to the end of your monthly billing it will only cost you a few bucks to try

Well, my activation of my free year of service went by smoothly except for the part where I specifically said "I do not consent to adding Sprint Complete to my plan" at least three times and the representative said that it was required and there was nothing he could do about it. I told the guy that as soon as my phone was activated I was going to remove it and then the guy lied and said that if I remove Sprint Complete I won't have any service after that and then kept on signing me up. Of course after activation, there's a $15 Sprint Complete plan added to my account. These guys are scum when it comes to getting new subscribers and I'm going to wait a few hours just because I have some work to do and then remove it from my plan.

Currently activated using an LG G5 I purchased on eBay for $50 in mint condition, and I ran a speedtest outside with 5 bars and only reached 6mbps download speed. It's a good thing this service is free because I could easily get 4x this speed on any of the other big four carriers no problem. This phone is only going to be used as a hotspot for when my internet goes down and I'm going to use it to stream a bit of Netflix and such as well as long as the LTE speeds are fast enough. I'm glad I never resorted to signing up for a Sprint service before, because it was horrible 20 years ago and it's horrible by even today's standards. God bless T-Mobile.
I guess you just told them or thing or two bad boy Brent. You rebel you.
So to clarify, Sprint is the backup LTE to your backup tmo line to your WiFi?
Think your all covered now Slick?

Signed up today. Ported my number from Google Voice. Should get a sim in a few days. They only charged me for the sim card, and she hooked me up with $.25 shipping.

Nice. Do verify its the BYOD free plan ($5 per month).
That's the second time I've read free shipping for SIM. Well done
