Thanks! I will look at it.
Do you know if Moto g6 directly from motorola will work with this promo?
Yes but please try to use the Wiki.
It points to this list.
https://community.sprint.com/t5/P...-p/1020211

Most Motos are generic phones which lack support for many key Sprint features such as Visual Voicemail, Wifi Calling, HPUE, LTE Calling etc.

I would not touch them.

I would not touch them. It seem people do not care about the actual usability of their phone.
Don't wanna be a pain in one place, just need advice.
One can do Wifi Calling with handouts.
Are Visual Voicemail, HPUE, LTE Calling really usefull?
I currently have no idea whats are these sorry.
I think unlocked moto g6 can be used with any network right?
The phone you suggest will probably only work with Spring?
I will likely also use it abroad

I think for my own part I will just leave it at what I said and you can look into it if interested.
You can check the wiki and thread for others suggestions.

The limit before potential throttling is what I was actually referring to there.

As to the Hotspot, there is no Hotspot on this plan for newer subscribers EXCEPT Sprint is apparently going to enable it for EVERYBODY for the Holidays! Supposedly emails are being sent and some people are getting them already.

Hmm does that hint at some sort of Sprint thinking and maybe more future options or plan changes re hotspot........

To those of you who got in on this deal last year, are you staying when the free year is up and the service goes to 25/mo?

Just port out and sign up in for another free year after 45 days off, or right away with a second SSN. See the Wiki for instructions.

Not everyone gets the 25 offer, but we get it next September we will definitely stay.

Anyone tried upgrading using the B1G1 promo? I was told I could upgrade to iPhone Xs and get XR free but the XR would have to be on a $60/mo line.

activation, but they usually activate as soon as you purchase. it unlocks as soon as you activate the verizon device on verizon. you pay off and cancel in 3 days to avoid activation fee, in 14 days to get prorate, anytime after is full month

Great, thanks so much (and reps)! When you port back to sprint is there usually an interruption in service? And if so how long typically?

Thanks! Yes, I'm almost sure the phone is eligible since it's a Sprint variant. However, since I'm planning to have Sprint unlock it and use it w/ them anyways, I wanted to know how Sprint will view the phone (still Sprint variant or unlocked)? I realize that it's not really important since it'll be eligible anyways, I'm just curious.

If I have an iPhone 7 on sprint and port it out then port it back in, will it work? I just realized the iPhone 7 says Verizon only?

Our family is currently with sprint. Most of my family are buying phones at Walmart today (on Verizon so we can pay off and go back to sprint). However one family member just got a new phone so he's not getting a new phone. Can he port over to Verizon for just a few days? Or should he buy the Tmobile sim and port out of sprint then back to sprint?

it took about 5 minutes to port and another 5 min to activate the phone IF they entered the numbers correctly.
