Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Using sprint BYOD since past week, so far amazing. Speeds are on par with Verizon. Uploads are little slow(less than 1mb sometimes). Otherwise downloads are more than 40mbps all the time.
Signal strength is awesome in east bay (Bay Area) and Phoenix Tempe area. No regrets so far. I know it's too early to review but it's good so far

Sprint works well if signals in your area is good and you are not traveling regularly by car. ( so far it is awesome for me) in MN

You still pay around $20 a month for other charges and taxes depending on which state you live in.
Where are you getting this info? The vast majority of people are paying $5 per line and less in taxes and fees as reported in the wiki by actual users.

I called apple. The supervisor looked into it, confirmed that my unlock status is equivalent to multi-mode unlock. We called my former provider in Canada who confirmed they see me as unlocked. We called Sprint who this time escalated to the tech team, they said with certainty that this is an issue with a cell tower and I just need to wait. They stuck to their guns so that kind of left me and the Apple guy hanging. A bit of a stretch to say that there has been no Sprint service across an entire major US city for 2 weeks.

Got my GSX report today, can anyone identify anything? I'm thinking I just need to switch carriers at this point, customer service is just a runaround.

Find My iPhone Status : On

I didn't read/follow your posts nor know the history of your iPhone. Based on the the GSX report you provided, and assuming you already asked Sprint to add the iPhone IMEI onto their DMD (device management database) via their DNA2 tool:
(1). turn off find my iPhone
(2). restore/reset the iPhone to factory defaults using iTunes
(3). do another carrier reset (just in case)
(4). update the Profile and PRL

If the above does not work, reply back with the part number MGxxxxxxx (not model number Axxxx) found printed on the box or under settings on the iPhone. Also let me know what message you see from iTunes from (2) above.

Update: I couldn't get the Moto E4 Plus to recognize the SIM on Consumer Cellular (A GSM network) after trying to port my number over from Sprint (where it didn't work also). There is a serious problem with this hardware that hasn't been fixed.

How would you proceed? I want blood from Motorola for all the hassle I've been through but I know how those things can go.

2nd Update: My Nexus 6P seems to be working fine on this Sprint promotion in terms of service but apparently now it's having problems with MTP transfers via both my desktop and laptop. According to Reddit, maybe I should have looked for a Pixel instead, for around the same price (~$100 used).

Nope. Unless you use third-party software such as PDANet+ which has been discussed throughout this thread. Do a search.

Go to ting.com and enter your IMEI and it should show eligible at ting. Then go back and enter the IMEI at sprint. That process should push it into the sprint database. Report back

OOps. my bad. You may have GSM only model. Please list your model number.

It is compatible with the GSM TMobile side of Ting only, not the CDMA Sprint side.

Otherwise it would say 'Your phone is compatible on both GSM and CDMA networks"

To verify, check it in Tello, which is CDMA only.

You should have bought model A1865 which supports both CDMA and GSM. AT&T customers can get it on their AT&T account by buying from a retail dealer such as Best Buy.
