Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Yeah just do Chat in that case. It takes 30 seconds.

Helped signed up a family member tonight. Porting 4 lines from tmobile.

They are definitely pushing for the sprint total connect. When you firmly say no, they will pretend to go along and then drop the call. Happened to me twice. Got as far as to when they read you the TOS and then they pretend to droll the call.

Finally in my third attempt got another rep whom didn't mention anything about total connect but added it automatically on all four lines. - had to go on chat afterward to remove these total connects.

I assume they are getting commission from adding total connect, or at least are being told to bring up the numbers.
You bet they are! They must be under extreme pressure to make sales.

After you chat to cancel, make sure the agent really removed it. Earlier this week, I checked my account about 12 hours after the chat, and the box was still checked. Tried to remove myself and got the internal error. Chatted a second time and he confirmed that I was still enrolled, but that he was removing it. After 1/2 hour, I could see the box was no longer checked. While I had the first chat transcript and knew I could get a credit, I preferred to have it off my account before the first bill was generated.

I'm already on this plan. My friend has a brand new sprint locked iPhone XR that is paid in full. Could I activate that on my existing plan and then in 50 days request an unlock?

Yes you certainly can.

That is just a normal addition of a line using a BYOD phone - nothing unusual about it.

You will need have a number to port in and call the number ending in 8777 to add it. You can use the sim that is probably still already in the phone since it is a Sprint phone. Or get a new free sim from most Apple stores if the one that came with it got lost.

Any way to permanently unlock it ? When you asked for the unlock did you tell them it was a Moto G6 or about Boost ?
The phone is permanently unlocked as long as you don't bring it back to Sprint.
Even if you bring it back and Sprint re-locks it it's a simple matter to request and get it unlocked again.
You don't have to wait 45 days if you tell them that the phone was unlocked and Sprint re-locked it when you brought it to Sprint and you request that it be unlocked immediately. It can be done in 48 hours.
Also, note that lately some posters here said that their phones were not re-locked when brought back to Sprint so Sprint may be improving its system.

When you call to request the unlock all that's required is the phone's IMEI and tel. #.
You don't mention anything about Boost.
They can tell from the IMEI that it's a Moto G6 Play.

Read the Wiki and quite a few posts, but still have a few questions:

Daughter is on her mom's Sprint family plan. Sprint iPhone 7 is paid off. She wants to get this plan and keep same phone and phone #. What's the easiest and cheapest route to go? Port out to pre-paid and back in to this? Thanks.

Yes.
And if the mom's family plan is not with Sprint she'll need a new Sprint Sim card that she can get for free upon request from any Apple store.

A cheap prepaid Sim card is this, but will need to add $10 time for the 25 cents/min plan:

https://www.att.com/cellphones/pr...paid.html#

https://www.att.com/port/lnpEntryWeb.do

The prepaid Sim card is usually delivered within 2 days.
Must make sure you ask for the prepaid account # and set up a Pin. You need those #s to port to Sprint

I apologize. I forgot to mention that she's currently on her mom's family plan that is with Sprint. I assume this makes a big difference. Thanks for your help.

Actually it makes it easier since there is no need for a new Sprint Sim card.
A Sprint Sim and a phone are married together forever.
