Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Orbic Wonder isn't great but it works. We keep one around here because it'll go on any carrier.

Too bad you can't find Karl around Sprint somewhere to unlock the Moto for you. I'm convinced he's in a Sprint cubicle somewhere
Thanks. I am currently in Cricket's 5 for 100 deal so I don't want to port out of any phone numbers. I only need a cheesy phone which works as a wifi hotspot for my wife and this phone looks like it supports from a review from youtube.

LTE Roaming Enabled is checked/enabled. Carrier Aggregation is enabled. Band41 Mimo is enabled. As is Band25Mimo. No idea of what those mean! Should I disable any of these?

I'm still stuck on 1xRTT so you are correct this unlocked phone cannot roam to Tmobile yet. I'm going to switch to Sprint in a month full time, so hopefully they get this to work on Tmobile when roaming with Sprint or I guess I'm buying a Sprint branded phone. I'll lose a few hundred with the latter.
iwheela
None of those other settings would matter.

I think they will get Roaming working for that model. I suspect what they did is take some temporary shortcuts in the PRL's that only work properly on the branded model. A whole bunch of phones are soon to be enabled for VoLTE. Roaming and band usage is all mixed up in those plans even though they are theoretically separate issues.

Everything is going fairly well since switching. Unfortunately I had one of those reps who INSISTED that I add the complete protection. Whatever. After the call I hopped on chat per instruction here and cancelled the insurance for both lines. Under the My Sprint app it is not showing as applied.

However when checking my bill, its still listed and my Auto Pay amount is still including the $15/line Complete Protection. Its been over a week and this still isn't adjusted. Do I need to do anything else on my end?

chat again and have them remove it (again)... it should remove from the account within minutes.

what does your current billing say for total due? (not the printed PDF)

$36.30

I just chatted again and they assured me that it was taken off my account. They said I would receive a refund on the next billing cycle?

Does this mean that they are going to charge me $36.30 this month and then refund it back next month? If I knew it would have been this much of a pain in the ass I would have just INSISTED that I didn't want the protection. Everyone here made it seem like it was very easy to remove...

it sounds like they are saying the billing has already closed and you will be charged, but a credit will be applied and then you will get it back.

as for getting it removed, it happened to me also, I did a chat immediately and they said it would be removed. within 5 minutes, my dashboard showed the service removed.

extra info: in my opinion, I dont see why they cant credit you now and then you could just short pay your bill the account balance due instead of the bill total. not sure if that is possible though.

I did this immediately after signing up. It does show up as removed on my dashboard, but my bill is still reflecting it being on there, which is why I'm confused.

Went to sprint store to pickup 4-1 sim card for upcoming Samsung S10+. Rep told me that it wont work because their spreadsheet updated. Rep also said they won't know what SIM will fit until near or after launch.

Anyone else get a similar or different response from Sprint about the S10?

I am sure it is fine. Just Chat and they will explain how their bookkeeping system works. They rarely if ever remove charges once they have appeared. Instead, they give offsetting credits. This documents the entire sequence of events better so you can see what happened and is better practice.

If it shows that you need to actually pay an amount though, I would ask them if that is the case as I agree you should not have to do that.

If you Chat, you can have a written transcript.

I would suggest ignoring local ill-informed Sprint store staff and go by
https://s4gru.com/forums/topic/78...ent=539287

which is authoritative in my opinion.

But the 4 in one kit is only $2.99 so I would just go with it it and not worry about it. In the extremely unlikely event that there is a actual problem, you could just buy another sim!
