Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

How long must you NOT be a Sprint customer, before coming back and being eligible as a "new" customer?

Hey did you get the moto x4? How does it compare to z2 force?
I'm trying to decide which I should get. TIA
i had the z2 force. never had the x4.
on paper the z2 force is a great deal.
i got it for 120.
coming from lg g6

now my review.
i hated the z2 force.
the biggest issue i had was with the camera. was terrible for me.
there other things major annoyance was no native email app

there were other things , but minor.
sold the z2 force for ~$220 used (i think it was)
went back to lg g6.
i really like the lg g6 series.
dont really care for moto series
i wanted to like the z2 , but couldn't

but others have had good experience with z2.
if chosing between z2 and x4, i think z2 better buy
(based on my limited knowledge of moto)

If the old phone was never formally and completely deactivated, they cannot release the sim for reuse.

Also is it the correct sim part number for the new phone?

It does not have to be never-used but it does have to meet the above conditions. So it may be easier to use a brand-new sim rather than check and ensure it meets all the conditions. And yes you do have to give them its ICCID.

You cannot just move the sim.

Also iPhone 7 T-Mobile/ATT Models are not supported if it is one of those. And it cannot be locked to another carrier. The checker might not catch some of these.
The old phone was an iPhone 6 Plus and this one is an iPhone 7. From the wiki, there was a link to check the part numbers and they are the same for both 6 plus and 7. The old phone was traded for an iPhone XR at an Apple store. Should I call Sprint and ask them to look into the error ?

Its been almost a year since we signed up under my wife's SSN and so I'm getting ready to do this again with my SSN. I'm starting to reread this thread to find the answers but hopefully a kind person can tell me if this plan will still work as it did last year.

1. Get a google voice number, pay to allow it to be ported out. If I remember right the pin is 0000 or 00000.

2. Call in to the 800 number to sign up for the free BYOD plan, say I'm porting from google and I already have sims.

3. I have an old cracked Galaxy S7 that hasnt been activated in 6+ months. My wife is currently using an iphone 6 on her free Sprint BYOD plan. I was thinking of either swapping her phone for an old LG G2 I have in a drawer and activating the iphone 6 a few days later on my new free account or activating the G2 on the new free account. But since the iphone 6 is/was on the list of accepted devices I thought it best to activate it on the new account when I call in to set it up.

Will this plan work?
re read the wiki

is a treasure of info..and all/most of ur ? are answered

Absolutely you should call them for help.

However, have you checked the model number of the phone? Many iPhone 7's will not work because they are GSM only.

Thanks for the info. My hope the camera on z2 is good enough for me....
I've had bad experiences with LG so I refuse to buy anymore phones produced by them.
Had the Nexus 4, Nexus 5, LG G3, LG G Pro...always had some issue with them
whether it being connecting to wifi or always rebooting.

thanks for the info, I was just going by memory. Other than those two issues the plan should work right?

My guess is you're going to love the Z2 Force.
I am convinced a pile of problems on Android phones come with updates. The Z2 has about a million updates out of the box.
Seems it's best to do them all and factory reset a couple times along the way.
Then plug in your apps and update them.
PITA but oh well.
One big difference between the X4 is that the Z2 is carrier specific. So you get wifi calling on Sprint for example.
Also if your interested, the 5g Moto mod should be compatible with Z2 shortly after it's launched on Z3.
I'm currently using an X4 on T-Mobile. It's a remarkable value and I like it just fine.
Can't keep up with the Z2 Force though.
Happy Motoring

Can anyone share if it'll work to port out current (on this free plan) phone lines to a different carrier and then use those same phones but with different phone numbers or have them assign new numbers, opening a new account under a different family member? Or is it like it the imei has ever been used it can't work again?

You can also use same phones with same numbers.
