Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Thanks for the info. My hope the camera on z2 is good enough for me....
I've had bad experiences with LG so I refuse to buy anymore phones produced by them.
Had the Nexus 4, Nexus 5, LG G3, LG G Pro...always had some issue with them
whether it being connecting to wifi or always rebooting.
I really like the Z2 for the $120 I paid for it. No, the camera is not as good as Samsung's, even as far back as the Galaxy S6, but its definitely not bad. I notice that I initially take somewhat blurry photos and then half a second later its much clearer. Maybe that's software based optical stabilization? Other than the camera not quite being flagship quality, and the large bezels, its a great phone.

Here is my successful experience with S10+:

Went to t-mobile store. paid around 23$ to setup account and obtain phone number to port. Called the Philippines sprint number on wiki. Accent on phone was very americanized and easy to understand. We started credit check. I failed credit check. I was then told to call sprint credit department. Called them and managed to get a second chance. Passed my second time. Gave IMEI and ICC ID's of both sim cards involved. $30 activation fee waived. Denied $15 protection plan. 1 year of free unlimited granted.

For anyone activating S10+, it is the SIMOLW516TQ sim card that has the Letter D on the card you punch it out of. The nano SIMOLW416Q is NOT compatible.

EDIT: I am running into an issue. The SIMOLW516TQ that was compatible with the S10+ does not seem to fit onto the SIM card ejector. the ejector itself only seems to fit the nano version. So how the hell is the nano version not compatible yet the one that is compatible can't fit??

EDIT2: Nevermind I am stupid. Once you punch it out of the card itself, you have to punch it out an additional 2 times to get to the nano that fits on the ejector thing itself.

Which is exactly why I didn't read it. Kinda defeats itself when it's a 200pg book. Downvote me. I don't care. It's the truth.

So I tried to take advantage of this deal using the trick that one of the other users posted about making an account without a credit check. First off, the reps wouldn't really go through with it and I'd be stuck with an application number and account PIN. So I then spent ~3-4 hours total yesterday on the phone trying to get them to find my application again since the rep disconnected from me making me have to call in again. And they refused to allow the offer without the credit check (since I guess they caught onto it) and would only offer a $25-$30 plan. Tried multiple reps and was as nice as I could be. So I was pretty much done lol.

After all of that I just said forget it and stuck with Verizon ($140/mo yikes). It's a nice offer, but Sprint's limitations and the credit check just for that wasn't worth it to me.

Happy for all of you guys who got in on the offer though!

Me and another user were unsuccessful as well after trying this bypass method. I've haven't heard anyone successfully avoid a credit check this way beside the original poster of it. And on top of that, I've read just one other person [reddit.com] get the credit check waived after a long battle with supervisors. So two people out of thousands of posters here. They clearly won't let you avoid it that easy.

Absolutely you should call them for help.

However, have you checked the model number of the phone? Many iPhone 7's will not work because they are GSM only.
It worked ! Looks like due to the phone disconnecting thrice, the port had not gone through. On the 4th attempt got a very helpful rep who was able to activate the connection for me with the same SIM. Thanks a lot for all the help and information !

I used sprint free 1 yr plan last year, then moved to t-mobile, after more than 45 days , tried porting in back to sprint.. tried porting online, but after entering SSN for credit check, I got 'order required additional processing'... should I call the credit department to get the application approved ?
Did anyone experience this , when trying to port back with same SSN after 45 days?

P.s : I know my credit score is good (>750)..

That's normal when you try to do it online because manual processing is usually needed to close off your prior account.

You are eligible after 45 days but that does not mean that the old account has already been formally noted closed yet on the system. Manual processing is often needed for that.

You can just call the number ending in 8777 and they will do everything needed all in one call. They will do all of the liaising with the credit department for you, as they always do, including noting the prior account as closed formally where needed.

You could call the credit department, but I personally do not see the point of dividing it into two steps for no reason unless you are absolutely intent on doing as much as possible online for some reason. It seems to me it can be an advantage for the sales rep to see your prior account and excellent payment history etc rather than starting over as an unknown, or leading them to wonder if you are trying to hide your prior account for some reason, or are perhaps impersonating the owner of the prior account.

The first thing I tell them is that I had the prior account and I find they like to look at it. It helps establish who you are. They know it is likely going to go through since it went through before. So it smooths everything along. Believe me they want your account back, and the commission that goes with it. You can give them the Sprint Complete commission to bribe them further, then cancel it later in Chat.
