Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

I know I have/had an eligible phone (LG X Charge), but right now service is with Tello. Should I port back to T Mobile SIM and then back to Sprint? TIA!
Yes, see wiki post for details.

I doubt Verizon is any better.

You want no hassle? Sign up with project Fi.
I never talked to a single person overseas when I was with Verizon, and I never talked to a native English speaker the entire time I've been with Sprint. I can assure you that VZW has better CS.

If you're talking about me I did put my IMEI in both ting & then Sprint as instructed. Of course it came back as compatible exactly as I tried explaining to the Sprint rep multiple times. I'm tempted to go through with it online but if we have any problems in the future (it is Sprint after all) we'd be talking to "Jen" or one of her buddies only this time we'd be dependent on them resolving the problem. Not sure I want to sign up for that.

Not to mention the difference in coverage.

You are really going out of your way here to bash a free service. If you have a problem or hate the service or whatever, just port your lines back to VZW. You don't even have to pick up the phone and talk to a single person at Sprint to do it.

I get that the rep wasn't helpful, but I'm not sure it requires constant complaints about it. Many people here have offered other methods and suggestions if you actually want the service. If you just want to complain about it, staying on VZW is probably the best choice for you.

Not possible with this plan. I called and asked, they said my bill for something with hotspot activated would be like 80 a month. I laughed and hung up. So I don't have a hotspot, but I do pay less than 4 dollars a month for my unlimited everything phone bill. There are stand alone hotspots out there you can get for like $20 a month for a few GB.

Sprint's CS seems to be mostly in the Philippines which isn't too bad. They learn English as part of their school curriculum. I don't have much trouble understanding their CSRs.

Verizon's CS is better though based on my experience back when i had them.

But with phone companies, I rarely have to call CS anyway.

Actually check out people PC you can get unlimited hotspot on the Sprint network for like $120 a year or so. Believe it or not but I was garbage picking last year behind a gym and someone tossed a Verizon jetpack with a active sim with unlimited data on it.

I only use it sometimes and mainly for curiosity testing purposes but I'm still surprised the sim card hasn't been canceled yet? Unless the person who tossed it either thought they cancelled it or did cancel & it's just a system glitch? I was able to sign into Verizon my.jetpack using password on device and it shows the account holders total data usage and that they have unlimited data.

But like I said I use it very little & would feel wrong about abusing this especially if the person is throttled after a certain amount of use. The speeds vary from 2 to 4 up to 8-12 Meg's download.

I have read your laments Sir. Conclusion is:
You are far too good for Sprint. We are all fortunate that you've blessed us with your presence.
So... you travel from Long Island to Boca, got a BOGO pixel 3 deal and an inexperienced Sprint rep.
Poor Little Lord Fauntleroy.
No, you're not Sprints dream Customer Prince
Take your whiny a$$ back to Verizon

Graced you with my presence? You're the one arrogant enough to feel the need to judge me based on a post I made and a few whimsical statements I injected in an effort to make the reading a little less dry. Not sure why your ego motivated you to profess your knowledge of me as a person but the personal attacks are unwarranted and completely wrong.

Planning to extend for my second year as I expire end of April.Game plan as follows, I hope:

Current setup: Wife and I on a plan with me as primary

Purchase digital SIM
Port wife out to t-mobile using digital SIM. Once line deactivates on Sprint, should mean it is ported out (won't be able to confirm since phone isn't e-sim). Create new account with Sprint under her name/SS and port in her line from t-mobile to new BYOD.

Assuming that goes well, do the same with my line using the same digital SIM. Worst case I purchase a second digital sim for me to use out to t-mobile.

Sound right?
