If you loosely cross your slightly opened fingers and hold the at the right angle you will see mini-crescents on the ground.

Just glanced at it through a welder's mask that the on-site maintenance guy has. Was obscuring the 12 o'clock position of the sun a few min ago. Will go back out to see it again soon.
I have made a "shadow box" to try out. bulb

If I didn't have to go to work this afternoon I would probably wander outside to see if the roosters up the street would be confused and start crowing as the eclipse ends. It probably won't get dark enough where I am though.

I just checked the timing again and I will be stuck inside at a safety meeting at work during the eclipse peak here. We will only have 72.5% blockage here anyway though. Maybe if the room gets dark enough I will be able to catch a quick nap.
