So to be clear and forgive my ignorance, but this is better than the Fry's deal a week or so ago? 2800mAh battery vs. 5000mAh | 3GB Ram vs. 2GB | etc. (Assuming it will be used on VZW)

I don't think that the insignificant improvements on the spec is worth more than double price off yet another VZ locked phone.

This is not a SD IMHO.

Can someone please confirm the LTE bands for this phone (looking to send overseas) as:
4G bands LTE band 1(2100), 3(1800), 4(1700/2100), 5(850), 8(900), 20(800), 38(2600), 40(2300)

I can't seem to fond the exact model number to make sure and have conflict (from gsmarena and moto web site)in whether band 2 or band 3 is actually supported

5,000 mAh battery is not a significant improvement? Best battery life of any phone you can buy is insignificant? It's 5.5" phone not 5".

Can't use this on VZW postpaid, can't use this on Sprint, bootloader locked.


Get the unlocked all carriers E4 (not plus) version for same price when it goes on sale (like at Frys a few weeks ago)...maybe less battery but all around more versatile....especially for the Sprint free unlimited BYOD plan

you're right. VZW used to officially advertise bands as 2,4,5,13. Looks like from the other threads on the $39.99 version they are reporting they are getting band 17 at least (other bands)

Just saw a pig fly after seeing all those bands being advertised on Verizon's website.

Which is weird since the smaller one only advertised the bands that Verizon uses.
