For those intending to lodge a chargeback or other complaint, a copy of the original SiriusXM email promotion sent to those who trialed, but did not keep the streaming radio service is attached below. The promotion was mass e-mailed on Nov. 29, 2017. (Dampier)
Total cost is $34.17 (plus taxes where applicable) for 6 months of service and a $50 Amazon gift card
THIS IS NOT FOR CARS.
Doesn't seem to be clear enough in the OP. If your car has a satellite radio in it, this deal will not work with it. This is only for listening via the Internet (desktop/notebook/mobile/apps) so sure, if you have a large amount of (or unlimited) data you could stream online and connect your phone to your car. But this is not for service to a SiriusXM device; this is only for Internet-based streaming.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
IMPORTANT: Set your calendar to remind you when the subscription is close to expiration. You cannot avoid future charges unless you specifically call to cancel service. Be aware if you register using a credit card or one-use credit card number, you are authorizing SiriusXM to contact your financial institution at the end of your subscription to automatically convert your account to your original credit card number as payment method. Citibank, Chase, Bank of America, and many other institutions will oblige automatically. You also agree to authorize your bank to update SiriusXM to obtain any updated expiration dates and new credit card number(s) (if changed) for your convenience to continue your subscription indefinitely. If your charge is declined, your subscription will continue via paper billing automatically and unpaid amounts will be turned over for collections.

...except of course mark on your calendars when to cancel, and get confirmation that it's cancelled. They don't play around. Do it a week before.
We used to do that but the amount of time to do that every six months got to be too annoying. Finally cancelled them completely and have to block them on the phone as they called 3 times a day.
I agree...The cancellation a week prior to expiration of the 6 months is the best advice. I still can't get past the 32Mbps streaming rate.

The streaming rate definitely isn't that low. Sure it's not more than 128 or 192 (can't seem to confirm) but it definitely isn't that low.
Listen to it all the time on my iPad, iPhone, and Roku TV (through Onkyo) and it sounds perfectly fine. Sure there are some compression artifacts but it's perfects acceptable and mostly not noticeable.
Too bad this is only for streaming and not for the car. I've been wanting to get the package with live traffic, I think that is what my navigation system uses but can't find any info on that. Seems like you can get the car package for $30 as well but no gift card.

Yeah, you can always get the $30/6 months for the car....adding a gift card would be great.

I know! I hate it so much....I wish they would sell me 2 years for $120....but they won't, never can get them to go past 6 months. Wife likes XM radio, so I have it for her, I just play music off my USB drive
