Thanks but what happens when I buy a g1? Does that mean it's over? I won? No more camera purchases needed?!

Your iPhones images look good to you because you are viewing them on a small screen. Try to view them on a large monitor it print them out on larger sizes and you will notice the difference. Photography equipments are about collecting lights and transforming then into photographs. A large sensor on a larger camera with bigger lenses will embarrass your iPhones images. And if you really care about taking nice photos with a cell phone, get the Google Pixel 2 instead.

the g9 x mk ii looks interesting for the price. How does it compare to sony's rx100 series cameras?

Why is the 9 more expensive than the 7? Shouldn't the higher the better?

Because that's how Canon numbering works. G1 is most expensive, then G3, G5, G7, G9.

Similar stuff especially the 7, really depends on ur personal taste

The newest RX100's have EVF which is a big bonus for me and a deal breaker for these Canons

Canon goes backwards with their camera models. Lower the number of the model line, the "better".

Am I missing something about the rebate? It looks like you eligible for it only if you buy camera and printer together.

I bought G9X refurbished a few days ago ($250 as I remember) and I like it. Do you think should I return refurbished one and get a new G9X MK2?
