Fark waiting for the insurance card, get to the doctor NOW! Those symptoms sound very serious. When you searched online, what did your symptoms map to?
It was symptoms for "head pain" which was part of brain tumors, but under the actual brain tumors, there were no symptoms that i've had.

Thanks, Hun. hug I think I'm going to have to go to the doctor. With no insurance, it takes quite a bit of pain for me to actually go. Frown

I have a question for your DH.... there's a stray cat here. (I SWEAR they must talk to each other and know to come to my place even though I can't keep them.)
I'm pretty sure she's in labor right now in the patch of grass about 20 feet from my door. The area she's in is really not a place where I can put a blanket or anything.

Is there anything at all that I can do for her (right now or later)/the babies (once she has them)? I really can't bring them in or I would. I'm not sure I can/should pick her up to move her to a box with a blanket.

If she'll be fine on her own (you know the temps here), I'll leave her alone.

Coverlaugh i'm still alive.

I've had those symptoms for about 4 months now, the convulsions being the longest lasting ones.

No card yet, it took DH about 3 months to get his and it's been a month now since I was added to the insurance.

Thanks. Smilie I wouldn't want to give anyone this anyway. I'm just praying the little guy doesn't get it. That's the last thing I need right now.

You know that HEB has those RediClinics, right? They can do basic stuff. hug

As for kitty, put a box nearby with a few towels inside. If you've got some kitten food/water put it out for mama - she needs the extra calories. Her instinct will kick in and she'll move the babies to the box if it's close and will protect her from the elements. It's not going to be terribly cold tonight so she will be OK.

Also try the state/county health department in your area, they charge a small fee, but better than a doctors fee!

I thought they charged around $75 (which is about the fee of my regular doctor's office). I'll have to check again to be sure. Thanks for teh suggestion. hug

Thanks for the info about the cat. I fed her on Saturday morning before I went out of town. I knew she was preggo, but I didn't realize she was that preggo. Saturday was the first time I've ever seen her around here.
There was another cat (that I've never seen until today) checking her out tonight. I hope he doesn't mean any harm to her. Frown

I'll put out some food tomorrow. I'm not sure if I can put the box/blanket out. She's in the apartment common area and I think management would throw it out. There's nothing near that aside from walkways.

Maybe throw a blanket into the bushes nearby? Dontknow We had a mama cat have babies in the back yard right after we moved to our house. We put the box out and mama fed them and then tried to hide them from us. She took them into our garage into the rafters! EEK! I had a neighbor help me get them down and we raised them and adopted them all out. If you can pull it off... let the kitties nurse for a week or so and then try to get them when Mama is out eating. You can feed them KMR (available at the pet store with baby bottles) or find out if there is a rescue center in the area. Better to socialize the kitties and get them fixed and adopted than to add to the feral cat population. You could also call around to vets in the area and see if they'll take them, but don't be surprised if they say no. DH always has a litter at the office for adoption it seems. It's amazing how many kittens are born in boxes on the front porch of the hospital. Annoyed
