Is it available just online or can you pick it up in store as well?

This is what is said in the product details. So not certain.

How did it look in person? I have heard that the screen on the older model wasn't bright enough.

You guys should wait a bit, it was just announced that Intel has a vulnerability problem and the fix will nerf speeds by 17% around, sounds like huge discounts and lawsuits are to come!

Why is this lukewarm? Dedicates graphics card, 8th generation i5, and 8gb ram for $700. What price would make this a great deal and what laptop with these specs can u get for less than that? Just curious cuz I'm looking to buy one. I dont like the portability though

At first I thought it was the same as the expired deal from the Microsoft Store last month for $500, but this model has discrete graphics (nothing spectacular, but something) and 128GB more of storage space (other deal had 128 GB SSD). I personally wouldn't pay $200 for these upgrades, but if you need them, it looks like a pretty decent deal. If you need an upgraded computer now and want to do some lighter video editing or gaming on low-end settings while traveling, this may be a good deal for you.

When I bought the model I did with 128GB SSD and no discrete graphics, the primary use I bought mine for was a lightweight long-battery life travel companion (8+ hours) and to play around with some digital art features to supplement my desktop (if I want my desktop's power at home without sitting at my desktop, then hello RemoteDesktop Smilie). Discrete graphics generally add weight and reduce battery life and IMO: If you're not sure if you need discrete graphics for your use of a computer, you probably don't (worth reading up on a little though to confirm) and it then it is generally a more practical option to go without them to reduce weight and increase battery life.

Is the RAM upgradable? I see one 8GB DIMM, not sure if there is another slot for 8GB more.
