When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

ROFL! Where is the spitting out one's tea emoticon??? I vote for this one too!!!! LOL

BTW - Has ANYONE at all come across a Fisher Price Imaginext Batman Gift Set ($29.99) DCPI: DPCI: 204-03-1334 ?????

I have been looking since before Christmas and NO WHERE has one! I really can't justify spending $60 - $90 on it from ebay or wherever ... so if anyone got one and just has it socked away and would be willing to sell it (of course plus shipping!) could they let me know???

Oh and the funny thing is - so you know how we find that different stores in different areas respond differently to coupons etc. Well I was calling all the stores around Wisconsin trying to find the Batman set and would give the person at guest services the DCPI number (which showed they had them) but when they went to look there were none. So the WI stores were out. So then I thought the only other person I know is my brother in San Diego, CA so I called the "Sports Arena" and "Mission Valley" stores and when I tried to give the DCPI number they told me that they had "No way to look up a DCPI number and that someone in toys has to look at the shelves." Of course, neither had them --- and I didn't call any others because I didn't know how close any of the others really were to Mission Bay. Isn't that weird? Does show the differences in how they work though!!!

I figured that this was as good of a place as any to post it, hope it makes you laugh as much as I did! I work in HR, I am currently interviewing candidates for an office position. This young lady comes in today, she is 24. Claims to have worked at Target as a Team Leader/Assistant manager. States she resigned due to discrimination. I go to Target, a LOT. I recognized her the second I saw her, but she did not recognize me. She is a cashier that threatened to have me arrested because I came through her line twice in one day back in the summer when there was the razor / gift card deal. She screamed and yelled at me, called me a thief, threatened to call the police, I asked her to page the manager, she did. The manager told me that I could purchase that razor, but no more at that store that particular day. After the manager left, this young lady mumbled a very nasty remark that was clearly audible to both myself as well as the customer behind me who commented on it.

Do ya think I should hire her????laugh out loud
OMG! You definetly should call her back. Tell her you spent the evening trying to remember where you knew her from and you finally recalled where. You can say it in a professional way but make your point well known. Also just for kicks and giggles...I would check her references nod Plus she is making a bad statement against her previous employer claiming discrimination...not smart at all in my book.

Quote from anepu :
Was this necessary? Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)
You do know I didn't write this right? Yeah, I dont know why people find it necessary. I have caught myself doing it though. When someone asks me "Do you remember who you spoke to" My reply has been "A young girl, white/black, real cute with long hair" I use it as a deductive description. Maybe the author thought the lady may be reading it thinking.."hmm, sounds like me" and become embarrassed that she showed her butt at Target.

Anyway, just wanted you to know I didnt write that and it was an excerpt from a posting.

I didn't win either --- I tried to enter again but it told me that I could only enter once a day --- will have to try tomorrow Smilie

Sorry you have a HA - that SUCKS!! I hope that it goes away or that you can find a moment to relax and maybe it will fade a bit! HUGS HUGS HUGS HUGS HUGS

So I go to pick him up and take him straight to the dr's office, his fever was 103.6!! Since what I was telling him, his wellness has been up and down, he thought it was the flu, but it came back negative. He thinks that its just a virus (like I thought all along, but just wanted some reassurance) So if his fever isn't down by Monday I have to take him back.
I hate it when our little ones are sick! It is so worrisome! My 1 year old has been sick for over 3 weeks now and we are still "waiting" out this virus! Poor sweetie! hope your lil guy is feeling better soon!

You can play four times a day-- today was my second day playing and I just won $15 worth of free Qs from Kraft.
Thank you! I can only enter once - but hey I have until 02/02/09 - so I might win yet!

I want to try to stockpile some diapers before the new GB gets here. I saw a post somewhere that was about how many packs of each size to buy.
Does anyone know or can anyone give me a rough idea?
Thanks for any help
I don't know how big your GB's tend to be --- I only used 1 bag of NB with any of my kiddos and then went on to size 1. With my last little girl she was 8 lbs 5oz at birth and we only used 2 bags of size 1 and then went on to size 2. The progression was VERY rapid! She is now 4 months old and in size 2 but they are getting un peu just - so we will be in size 3's soon. My 1 year old is in size 4's and moved through the 3's rapidly ... if I had to stock up I would buy more 4's and 5's and fewer 3's and 2's and very very very few 1's - and maybe only 1 bag of nb unless you guys have little babies!

I have a serger. ... You can do some decorative stuff with it, but not monogram things.
Man I would LOVE a serger! Not that I have time at the moment to breathe let alone sew ---- and in my opinion sewing used to be a much cheaper hobby when material was cheaper! I think it is now often cheaper to buy premade clothes from stores because material has become so expensive!!! Someday I will get an embroidery machine though!

Okay, so I am totally off topic with everyone here, but I woke up coughing up a lung this morning an hour before my alarm goes off, and logged on, what else is a person to do when no one else is a wake? ... It feels good to contribute to the larger family even though I am so far away.
I hope you are feeling better soon!!! The germies this year are killers for sure!!!!! I am looking forward to the day that I can figure this out so I can be doing what you are doing and sharing with friends and family like that!!!

I am surprised that they can kick you out for that! I did once right around christmas try to hide a batman sword but it was gone next time I looked so I haven't bothered again. Still - can't see why they kick you out for that???

I used a serger a lot in high school. I owned one after school, but my ex hubby got that in the divorce (don't get me started on how he got ALL my stuff Ranting @sshole......) so I haven't used one in a while. I really want to make fleece PJ bottoms, since they are soooo comfy, but thought I should get some books since it has been so long since I have done anything but a baby blanket on one.
Blink
That's so funny, and I can totally relate. I find it amusing that your ex would WANT a serger. Mine would have no idea what it even was. I did bring my stash or toilet paper to my Mom's though before the divorce. My ex had everything appraised in the house. I worked hard to get my bargains and he was not going to get them! I could have cared less if he took all the furniture, but he wasn't going to get my stockpile!! laugh out loud Once you get back on the serger, it will all come back to you! Go ahead and make those PJ bottoms!!

Oh hunny, he didn't want it to use it, he wanted it to be the @ss that he was!!! He kept EVERYTHING!!! Alexa still complains about her brand new bike and "lucky ducks" game that he kept! Ranting Poor kid, she was sooo young! I have bought her many things, but sometimes you can't replace certain things. Actually, I don't think it was the things as much as the idea behind it! What kind of a piece of scum keeps a little 5 year old girl's stuff from her? Mad Ok, enough of that talk! I am in a much better spot in my life now, and Alexa and I are stronger for surviving all that nod

O M G.......I don't think I have EVER laughed so hard, I pulled out a tote of razors, can't remember if that deal was Venus or Phenom, but the tote has both. I am going to throw some random Target, gift cards, receipts and bags around my office (I actually HAVE the one from that day, I wrote on it because I called about her). I talked to my boss, and he spit out his coffee laughing! She is coming back in tomorrow at 9 am, I can hardly wait!!! He wants to interview her with me, but I doubt that he can keep a straight face. I did call Target to verify her employment, all they would do is verify dates (Which she EXTREMELY exagerated on) which is the same that I would do. Will let you know how it goes!
