Ugh. At least the rest of the team knows going in that they need to step it up a bit. Sid is capable of taking over any game, and Murray is capable of stealing a game. All of the pressure is still on Washington.

There is a show on every night here called The Nightly Sports Call. The main host has a great reputation in the city and is excellent at what he does. The guy that does the show on the host's off nights is a complete idiot.

With Hagelin and Malkin both out for Game 1 I'd be happy with a split coming back home for Game 3. Since Sullivan stated Hagelin would not make the trip to D.C. does that mean he is already ruled out for Game 2?

That is my assumption, but there are two off days between 1 & 2. I am not optimistic he would be available to play, but NHL coaches are notorious for sharing as little as possible when it comes to injuries.

Stealing game 1 would be HUGE. If the Pens pull that one off, then "here we go again" will start creeping in the minds of the Caps players.
