here we go again...the 6300 I bought earlier actually had 4 USB 3.0 ports. I replaced the hard drive with a 240GB SSD and it's a surprisingly fast machine for about $120.
This is a desktop. Hardwire it (cat5/6). If you can't, then wifi stick is the cheap alternative. But seriously, since it's a desktop and you can't mobilize it, get a hardwire would be best(performance as well)
Perfect for grandma, or younger kids who aren't gamers but need a PC to do homework on.

I got two of the 6300's the last time this deal was around. I had a relatively easy time adding solid states, ram and upgrading to Windows 10 Pro. Overall they're laid out well and easy to work with but tight on space. Both towers were dust free and seemed nearly new; one had a loud fan that was easily replaced.
I would recommend them for anyone looking for basic economical computing. Now both my Mom and younger brother have capable machines for email, work and whatnot. This hardware itself costs less than the operating system!
Me personally? I wouldn't buy anything short of an i5. If you shop around you can find one like this one https://www.amazon.com/HP-Compaq-...i5+hp+6300 but for around $100. Drop in a gt 1030(ddr5 preferably) and you've got a hdmi out machine that can play most games at decent(not great) resolutions and framerates.

You can always get a WiFi usb stick if you really want a wireless connection.
