Wow. I have been using a Surface 3 Pro happily for quite some time. My mind is blown thinking about a machine that is 2.5 times faster. I can't type, think, or surf that fast.

How badly does this thing heat up with an i7 in it?

I'm expecting the new Surface Pro to come out soon with 8th Gen Intel CPU's (hopefully doubling the number of cores/threads).

Not bad. I have one and it's way better for heat than the sp3/sp4 i7 variants. It's also a lot more quiet to.

I second this. I had one for about two weeks. Returned it because apparently I'm an Apple fan Boi and missed iMessage enough to go back. Otherwise it's a solid device and at this price even refurb a great price.
