At this price it should have 256+ SSD.

They rarely do because most people prefer the extra storage or to put their own SSD in with however much capacity the user desires.

Probably one of us SD'ers who got our Acer recertified orders canceled. So angry. Not a bad deal, but I don't want something so gamer'y.

This site is finicky about this honestly. Many FP deals are mediocre and sometimes just bad. I remember recently about a GPU that went FP then a few days later dropped in price but that one didn't get a lot of attention for some reason.

Personal reasons for not getting a product still isn't a reason for TD.

This is a great deal, this is like $500+ in savings.

On another note, any idea when RTX cards will be in laptops??

Specs wise, this is an amazing deal. Never had an MSI laptop, so I can't speak on quality. I'm tempted though.

I paid $1300 for the 15" version of this almost two years ago and replaced the HDD with a 1tb 860 and it's a beast. Haven't had any problems with it.

I have this exact computer. Paid about $300 more months back. It is for gamers, I flawlessly play pubg,VR and any other games without any other issues. I also run streaming programs as well at the same time all from this machine. Havent had any issues so far. Only complaint is for gaming the keyboard gets warm so after long periods your hands tend to sweat. Issue fixed with an external mini USB fan aimed at the keyboard. Also has a super fan mode which cools the computer down very quickly
