This thread is being created so people -- generally, those people who can't seem to resist talking about off-topic junk in the Target coupon thread -- have a place to talk about shopping at Target and other miscellaneous matters.

All you folks who hang out in the Target coupon thread, start hanging out here instead! When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

My least favorite part is the filter I think. That thing is nasty when it's time to be changed... it's also bad when your cat with vomit issues does it in the drinkwell.
Oh, yuck. Teehee I hate the big clumps of fur that get stuck around the water intake part. Blurgh.

Oh, and have you ever heard the sound it makes when it runs out of water EEK! Not good!
I had a tabletop fountain that my cat used as a drinking fountain...I heard that sound more than I cared to. Sounded like the damn thing was gonna blow up. Bigeye

What about rub on tattoos or stickers? Hair stuff is a good idea if you dd likes it. Mine is a girly girl but NOTHING goes in her hair laugh out loud so her dollys get the pretty dress up bows.

i got her (turning 3) some animals that grow when put in water (got them at ACmoore for a buck each). And some dolly stuff. her basket will have a movie, book and some princess stuff. DS (7) is getting a movie, tatoos and books (he has just started to read and loves it Smilie )

HTH
laugh out loud Thanks!!

sungoddess7~ let her finger paint some eggs. This will be a fun color learning experience for her. I bet she would love it and you can buy washable non-toxic paints.
Oh yeah! Great idea!! I think she would have some great fun with that. Thanks!!

Quote from qqueen :
Sungoddess: Coins are good too! They make good noise and kids are generally excited about any money at this age. Also, the fruit gummies.

The other fun thing is to let them decorate the eggs with just stickers. Not as messy for the little ones.
Stickers on the eggs!! Doh Why didn't I think of that!! laugh out loud Thanks, qqueen!!

I remember that - ugh - it was nasty with a capital N!

Yes... every few days laugh out loud It used to do it a lot more often, but not so much anymore. And we don't clean it as much/thoroughly as used to either Coverlaugh
That's why I finally chucked ours - it was such a pain to clean (and I wasn't doing it as often as I should) - also my cats weren't too keen on it.

I remember as kids we would play egg hunt over and over and over without anything in them. When my mom and dad would hide the eggs not all of them had a *prize*. They had to hide enough for 6 kids laugh out loud It is definitely about the hunt, not what is in them. Did this with DD when she was little. We would do several hunts with only the first hunt having a few hidden treasures.
My kids love to play egg hunt year round and they are always just empty. They hide them in the same places over and over and then make me pretend I can't find them! laugh out loud I finally just put away all the Easter eggs from last year b/c I wanted there to be some novelty when Easter comes this year!

Whee I was the windshield today! Went for the Pepsi deal - ended up buying (between 2 stores) 20 12-packs, used some B3G1's - total was $35 with $20 back in GC! Big Grin I told my amazing little jedi that I didn't know what I'd spend the GC's on, so he'll probably see me tomorrow when I "waste them" on more soda! He told me to come on in - they're getting another truckload of it tonight! (Must print more q's... Teehee )

I've been feeling OK. My sinus infection is gone which is great but morning sickness is still kicking my a$$. The dr. recommended vitamin B6 to help with the sickness and it's been helping a little. Of course last night I forgot to take it and I was paying the price this morning. I have my 1st ultrasound on Thursday. Then we'll know if everything is good with baby and if there is only 1 little bugger in there. I really just want it to be Thursday already. I hate waiting.

hope you start feeling better soon. I forget when the sickness went away for me. Second trimester I think. The first three months I was Sick every evening. Mornings were fine. Every day after lunch I would get sooo sleepy. No matter how hard I tried to fight it, I would fall asleep at work. Luckily, I had a great boss who would close my door so I wouldn't be disturbed while napping.

Good luck with the ultrasound. I'll be thinking about you hug

That sounds like my first trimester to a T. Not so bad in the morning but evening was horrible. That fatigue kicked my booty too. I am not as exhausted. Still get tired, but I no longer have to hold my head up at my desk.
