If you currently have any kind of Saphire personal card that is active, you will NOTqualify for bonus points, even if you are approved.
If you close your Saphire card recently, you will need to wait 48 months from the date you received the previous Saphire bonus before applying to get the new card's bonus points.
Be careful not to waste a hard credit pull
Chase T&C:
"The product is not available to either (i) current cardmembers of any Sapphire credit card, or (ii) previous cardmembers of any Sapphire credit card who received a new cardmember bonus within the last 48 months. If you are an existing Sapphire customer and would like this product, please call the number on the back of your card to see if you are eligible for a product change. You will not receive the new cardmember bonus if you change products."
95 af is not waived for first year basically previously it was 50k with 95 waived first year now it's 60k with 95 af so pretty much the same
Also I'll get csr rather than csp if you spend 3400+ in travel, dining etc
It is pretty straightforward. When you use your card for ANY travel purchase (like Airbnb, airfare, hotels, Lyft, Uber, parking, some tolls, and many others), you will automatically be reimbursed, until you've spent a total of $300 on travel. In other words, Chase will pay for the first $300 in travel you spend each year with your card.

Yes, but it would be more valuable to do a modified double dip and have her get both CSP/CSR (assuming shes under 5/24).
What do you mean by that exactly? I'd have to get the CSP first, I presume, or I wouldn't qualify for the bonus, and then I get a CSR too?
I did check and the Chase portal says my wife's card is closed and the last bonus was January, 2017, so I guess we are good to go here. Going to apply for the CSP now.
EDIT: Nevermind, 48 months = 4 years. 2 more years to wait, ouch.
Does anyone know how to get personal cards to show for "selected for you offers?" I currently have a couple Ink cards, so it's only showing me other business cards.
I've read a few places these don't show up if you have any biz cards (and I've never seen em on my chase account which does)
However, my girlfriend with my permission opened up a card under my name for chase sapphire preferred to help her get some kind of bonus a while ago.
I did not give her any of my SSN #, she merely just opened up a card under my name under her primary account.
Does this disqualify me from getting this bonus / card ?

you are disqualified
and you should probably do a credit check to see what other cards your girlfriend has opened with your social

You're fine. Being an authorized user of this card on someone else's account doesn't disqualify you.
Does anyone know if the 100K bonus points promo will ever come again for the Chase Sapphire Reserve? Been waiting for it but thinking about just going with the current 50K.
