If you currently have any kind of Saphire personal card that is active, you will NOTqualify for bonus points, even if you are approved.
If you close your Saphire card recently, you will need to wait 48 months from the date you received the previous Saphire bonus before applying to get the new card's bonus points.
Be careful not to waste a hard credit pull Smilie

Chase T&C:
"The product is not available to either (i) current cardmembers of any Sapphire credit card, or (ii) previous cardmembers of any Sapphire credit card who received a new cardmember bonus within the last 48 months. If you are an existing Sapphire customer and would like this product, please call the number on the back of your card to see if you are eligible for a product change. You will not receive the new cardmember bonus if you change products."
95 af is not waived for first year basically previously it was 50k with 95 waived first year now it's 60k with 95 af so pretty much the same
Also I'll get csr rather than csp if you spend 3400+ in travel, dining etc
It is pretty straightforward. When you use your card for ANY travel purchase (like Airbnb, airfare, hotels, Lyft, Uber, parking, some tolls, and many others), you will automatically be reimbursed, until you've spent a total of $300 on travel. In other words, Chase will pay for the first $300 in travel you spend each year with your card.

So I am about to pay off the last of my student loan ($12,000). I have the cash to do so but I wanted to use a couple of credit cards to get some rewards and cash back. Is this a good card to use for this purpose? Is there a better card to use?
Chase will shut you down for manufacturing a spend

Do you have to use bonus towards travel? Or can you use for bill credit or gift cards?

You don't have to use for travel, but the points are worth significantly less in that case

Question - I have used CSP for 4 months now and got the bonus. I already have a Chase freedom. At this time, which card is better to continue for daily use, Freedom or Sapphire in terms of reward points?

Is there a reason you can't use more than 1 card?

To optimize "normal" spend with the chase ecosystem-

Use freedom for things in the 5x categories that quarter... (this can include buying gift cards at those places to use in other quarters so as to max out the 5x cap each quarter)

Use CSP (or even better a CSR) for travel and dining (when dining isn't a freedom 5x category

Use Freedom Unlimited, or Ink Unlimited, for 1.5x on any non-category spend.

Use Ink Cash for 5x on phone, cable, and internet as well as gift cards (to other places) at office supply stores.

So does this have 0% intro APR or no? I saw nothing indicating that it did, but just wanting to make sure.

Which still means that you are not eligible until 48 months have passed since getting the bonus for ANY SAPPHIRE CARD.

If you don't see anything indicating a 0% offer, then there is no 0% offer.

Does medical bill payments count towards the $4000 spending requirement to get bonus points?

Yes. Anything that you can pay with a credit card that is not processed as a 'cash advance' counts.

Buying store gift cards and visa gift cards should be fine right?

Yeah it's almost like banks want to discourage churning or something!
