If you currently have any kind of Saphire personal card that is active, you will NOTqualify for bonus points, even if you are approved.
If you close your Saphire card recently, you will need to wait 48 months from the date you received the previous Saphire bonus before applying to get the new card's bonus points.
Be careful not to waste a hard credit pull Smilie

Chase T&C:
"The product is not available to either (i) current cardmembers of any Sapphire credit card, or (ii) previous cardmembers of any Sapphire credit card who received a new cardmember bonus within the last 48 months. If you are an existing Sapphire customer and would like this product, please call the number on the back of your card to see if you are eligible for a product change. You will not receive the new cardmember bonus if you change products."
95 af is not waived for first year basically previously it was 50k with 95 waived first year now it's 60k with 95 af so pretty much the same
Also I'll get csr rather than csp if you spend 3400+ in travel, dining etc
It is pretty straightforward. When you use your card for ANY travel purchase (like Airbnb, airfare, hotels, Lyft, Uber, parking, some tolls, and many others), you will automatically be reimbursed, until you've spent a total of $300 on travel. In other words, Chase will pay for the first $300 in travel you spend each year with your card.

Is this card ever offered with a 0% APR deal for 12+ months?

Most recently, applied for, opened, and eventually (3months later) got the opening bonus for the CSP in July 2016.can I apply now and get the bonus again?

Not until July 2020.
Your post isn't 100% clear. If you were approved in July 2016 then you need to wait until October 2020. If you got the bonus in July 2016 then you can apply again in July 2020.

Let me clarify and hopefully you can get back to me. I was approved in July, Spend the required money and got the bonus 3 months later in October 2016. In 2018, i converted the card to the Free Sapphire card. When can i apply for either the CSP or the CSR again?

You can't apply for any Sapphire card until October 2020 (check your statements for the exact date or wait until November 2020).

Also, you'll need to address your no-fee Sapphire card. Having it makes you ineligible to be approved for another Sapphire. I suggest product changing it to a Freedom at least 1 week before you plan to apply for your next Sapphire card. If you decide to cancel it instead (not recommended), you need to do that at least 1 month prior to applying.

I have finally rebuilt my credit back to pre-housefire status that set me back about a decade, and am going crazy trying to determine which rewards card best meets my needs. I do most of my shopping on Amazon, Costco and Walmart. I don't travel much and don't believe in car loans, anymore. Most of my charges go towards gas, food, housing needs, and vehicle maintenance. I never want to put my wife and kids through another broke Christmas. Thoughts?

Go only for cards with bonus for no annual fee unless you want to do the open for big bonus/downgrade/close dance repeatedly. If you spend a lot at amazon get their card, essentially like 5% discount on everything @amazon. Likewise see what the in store points are for the Costco & Walmart cards, if over 2% get those cards for those purchases, else Citi double cash (maybe other banks have similar) gets you 2% on EVERYTHING. No special or rotating quarterly bonus categories. Oh forgot Costco has 4% on gas up to some limit

Sapphire Preferred never had a $300 credit.

Sapphire Reserve ($450 annual fee) has a $300 annual travel credit.

I am looking for some opinions here.. all are welcome. I currently have csp which will complete its first year in January, I expect to spend $4500+ on travel in the next 4 months.
I want to apply a chase sapphire card for my wife, should I do a referral to her so I get 15000 points , and she gets the welcome bonus of 60000 points ? Or am I better of just applying a CS reserve for her ? I plan to downgrade my csp to freedom before the annual fee hits.

If possible look into the Chase Business Ink Preferred card for 80,000 points. Won't affect your personal credit score/history either. You can apply for it as well as wife. But yes you want to refer (always) her for extra 15000 points. However If you get Chase Reserve, be sure the $300 annual travel credit and other perks you can benefit from considering annual fee is $150 (after credit) vs $95 like regular CS card.

I dont have a business , can I still get chase business ink?

For the $300 travel credit with CSR, I am sure I will utilize it as I spend atleast $2000 in travel every year and definitely spending $4500 in the next 4 months.

If I have a CSP, can I still refer her to a CSR and get 15000 points? In my chase account I only see the option to refer CSP and CSU (both of which I have). I don't see cards that I dont have like CSP , CIB or CF which I dont own.
