Still haven't gotten the $150 Slickdeals rebate from the AMEX card deal from a month back...

Vanguard money market is about 2.49% or so currently. Places like Cit bank is around 2.45%. Other places have 2.3-2.4%ish accounts. Purepoint has a no-penalty CD at 2.6%

But with 20K to play with, you may be better off doing the bank bonus game -- Discover/Capital One/HSBC checking/Citi and so on.

I will NEVERRRRRRRRRRR************** deal with his bank again. tried another bonus wasted hours opening account, dealing with Philippines, etc what a waste. i have done bonuses at chase,citibank etc. HSBC will never get my business. even years a go a rewards credit card they switched to a non rewards during process.

Why is everyone so salty and impatient? The OP says 60 days. Wait 60 days then start complaining at least. (Likely business days as we are dealing with a BANK people)

Saying that another rebate said 30 days or only took X amount of time is a lot like those stories your grandparents tell you about when they could get bags of candy for a nickel. That time seems to have passed.

Everyone needs to grow up a little and realize that you are doing next to nothing to get FREE money. If you get the money great!

If you don't, you didn't lose anything in the process, nor did you do any real work to earn the money so it shouldn't affect you in the slightest.

tl;dr: Stop posting about this crap until it's been 60 business days or you get the money.

My account was approved so I filled out the rebate form but the next day I received an email from the fraud Dept that they needed me to call and provide some additional info. I called and they needed my ID. I submitted that and everything is complete now. Do I need to resubmit the rebate form? TIA

Agreed! I tried twice and got declined both time, fist time I thought I did a typo log on to my source account, so I went through the whole process one more time, and paid special attention to key in my user name and password. Same result. I think they just want to collect our data.
