About the Dell XPS 13:
- Camera Location: newest model top center, older model bottom center (think chin cam), oldest model bottom left
- No standard USB port except on oldest model with camera on bottom left
- RAM soldered in, not replaceable
- SSD replacable
- 4K screen eats battery up about 1 to 1.5 hours faster vs. full-HD
- Touch screen not on all models - confirm specs
- If interested, consider slightly lighter 2-in-1s with with similar specs for less $ (e.g. New Asus zenbook or similar I got for about $825 (not 4K) on sale from BB last fall)

seems like the 9570 with the 1TB HDD is a better deal. $90 buys you a lot of SSD these days. XPS has 2 slots right so you could potentially add a NVMe drive and keep the 1 TB?

2x4 GB ram is disappointing though. with only 8, it would be better if they went with a single DIMM

The problem is the SSD models have the 97 whr battery and the HDD models do not. They use the 57whr solution.

The build and quality on the XPS is much better than the Zenbook imo.

I have a 2015 i5 XPS and battery still lasts 6-7 hours on a charge. Thinking of picking up a new one do to the cam finally being on the top so it doesn't point directly to my nostrils lol.

It appears both 9570 models (fncwxb1652h and dycwb1651h) are 3 cell 56Wh batteries, cross checking against Newegg with the codes.

Was surprised at how much heavier the 15" was in person. Decided to go with the 13" 2-in-1 because of this.

Any 2.5" drive model has a smaller battery as that space is where the larger battery would normally be.

I had the exact same impression. I'm in the market for a new laptop and I thought since the XPS has very thin bezels that I can upgrade to a 15-in. I don't think the added weight is worth the extra screen size. The fact that the 15-in lacks the numeric keypad doesn't help help it's case over the 13-in either.

You're buying from Dell's storefront on urlhasbeenblocked's site, so you're essentially buying directly from Dell. And the typical Dell warranty is one-year.
